Back to league duty on Sunday. We really need to start getting wins on the board in league but this will be a difficult trip as St Mirren have started league season well. Would like to see Subs who came on last night start on Sunday to get minutes into their legs before next Thursday. Would also expect Jensen to start instead of McKenzie for same reason. Not sure I would change any of the forwards but we might see Sokler start for Duk.

Away end is sold out for this one so hopefully a decent atmosphere.

2-1 Miovski and McGrath (bound to score against his old club as it happens to us all the time)

What sort of thread title is this? Who are St Mirren away to? Mods? Delete thread and start again.

Apologies for the rotten title but it’s was a rush job to get a thread going as Manc is an idle cunt and Big Al is slumped in the corner of some Greek Taverna looking like a sunburnt Father Jack.

Should be a good test this one, and can easily see it being a draw. I’d like to see the team that finished the hacken game start this one, feels like that, maybe with one or two tweaks is our first XI. Would be nice to kick off our domestic season and doing it on the back of the euro performance would be a perfect time for it.

Polvara must have something on Robson to still be getting a start.

Looks like Robson expecting a physical battle which is why he's gone for Hayes, MacDonald and Polvara ahead of McGarry, McGrath and Morris.

Prediction: An awful first half, some subs around the hour mark, Dons to start playing and win it late on.

Turgid half hour. Shinnie running about chasing shadows. Not getting the ball out. Robsons strategy has always been defend for your lives and hope duk or miovski had a blinder.

Really got away with it at the end of last season but it was never going to work long term.

Needs to improve the play because we're nothing more than a counter attack team currently.
