Scottish Premiership - Aberdeen v Dundee

Dons vs county

Must win game this one. Lose and we really are staring down the barrel. I don’t think a win gets us safe but crucially we may start to build a bit of momentum at the right time (too optimistic?).

as long as the leven from the Dundee game doesn’t turn up, we should be ok. Doesn’t sound like we’ll have a manager in place for this one 😂🤦‍♂️ Hopefully miovski will have gained some confidence from his international goal too.

they’re being a decent support across for this, and sounds like pittodrie is selling well, which does surprise me, but we really need the fans to play their part here. Cannot let the likes of the weegie press get their Christmas present early.

Simply cannot lose this one. Record against County is good this season so hoping that continues on Saturday. As long as everyone is fit should be same team as Motherwell. As Manc says hopefully scoring for his country will have given Miovski his confidence back.

Less than 1k tickets left for sale, pretty impressive(though usually means around 12k actually in the stadium 🤔). Shame MacDonalds out,....as said, hope were on the front foot fae the off.

Oot

Prediction - 3 - 1 Dons. Clarkson,Duk x2 late on

We’re awful in the air in central defense, look timid and unsure, having 3 midgets in center mid doesn’t help them either. We’ve been a little better since their goal, but not close to the Motherwell performance.

Playing 1 up front against the mighty Ross County. Getting what we deserve so far.

It’s understandable if you’ve blanked most of this season from your memory but we played two up front for the majority of the last 12 months and it didn’t exactly end well.

Just reading Leven’s Wikipedia page there, didn’t realise how successful he’d been as an assistant manager in Belarus and Russia working under the manager who’s now in charge at Dinamo Moscow. Hope there’s a place for him in the future coaching team structure.

Why? We have won two in a row but today was a shit watch. I know winning is all that matters right now but we were very lucky to get three points, could easily have lost, what the fuck have we been doing the last two weeks to produce that??

saying this, who knows what Robson, warnock, or leven could have done with a balanced squad??

quite happy to see the back of gartenmann unless he’s a cheap signing. I think he’s very poor in the air and a bang average player. We really need a dominating ball winning central defender and that’s not gartenmann or Jensen, weak middle partnership.

Just back. A fairly dogshit performance, but a good result. Not many stand out performers today, with the back two just a total bombscare. Jensen nowhere near good enough for this level, and Gartenmann looks good when things are going well and honking when not. Devlin much improved when he removed the stupid mask. There are very few positions where you don't require a peripheral vision, fullback certainly isn't one of them, and we shouldn't be starting players with masks on unless absolutely forced, or the player is miles better than the replacement (Milne). McGrath was also terrible today, up until scoring, and Clarkson missed every pass, with Hoilett pish too. We were just extremely nervous, and we got lucky that County decided not to bother continuing their domination from the first half. Then Duk came on and gave one of his enigmatic performances. A wonderful turn and cut back for the second goal, the first touch was just class under pressure. We'd be sorted if he was in any way reliable.
