Hearts should hopefully be broken after their trip to Azerbaijan. It’s the one time I’m glad they play in Europe 😂 a few plane break downs and delays wouldn’t go amiss. Ideally they don’t get a new manager bounce either, albeit an interim one.

interested to see if we see all three of palaversa, Nilsen and Shinnie in mid for this one. Setting us up for some of the bigger games coming up? Gueye being out for a min of 4 weeks probably makes some of the decisions easier, providing the answer isn’t Ambrose. Don’t want to make him the token boo boy but he needs to go out on loan.

home team usually wins these fixtures, but this does have the air of banana skin over it, purely because we’re on a good run. Intrigued to see how he sets us up against the biggest team he’s faced so far.

This does have banana skin written all over it. But the Huns Without Busfares are gonna be absolutely knackered, and we have been playing brilliantly (albeit in patches).

I'd sincerely love it if we absolutely rip this shower of shite into pieces

I'm not buying into this Hearts will be knackered because they have a game on Thursday and have to fly back from Azerbaijan.

I don't know how long a flight it is, but surely only around six hours isn't it 🤔

Not sure when the plan on arriving in Aberdeen, but assume they may well fly back straight after full time, meaning they will have two full days to prepare.

Have they not bulked up their squad size for these moments ?

Sounds like a convenient excuse ready made for them

Let's do these maroon fuckers, even though twats like Tom English @ BBC will still trot out the line that we've not been tested.

A nineteen point gap with a game on hand has a nice ring to it.

4-0 to the good guys

Nisbet x 4

In addition to my point above about travelling, season 2015-16, we travelled back from Almaty (virtually twice the distance) and went to Tannadice and won 1-0 on the Sunday courtesy of a Kenny McLean goal 😉

Gueye out for 14 weeks. Real shame for the guy after such a strong start to the season. At least we've got Clarkson to come in, although it'll be a different threat that he provides in between McGrath and Keskinen.

No disrespected intended to pape, but he’s been a bonus. I expected clarkson flanked by McGrath and topi with Morris and Vinny filling in wide, adding duk somewhere too. Opportunity for others to shine, including Nisbet to be the main scorer now.

Does anyone know how early you have to be outside the players entrance at the main stand to see the team arrive / get autographs etc…?

Usually 1.5 hours before kick off.

Would like to see us going with same team as started against Dundee as think that is our strongest line up. Don’t expect the Hunbos to be as bad as their league position suggests and can see this being a tight game. They do have good players who were being badly coached. Would have been happier if Naismith had lasted a bit longer.

Game is sold out, home and away ends.

And Alan Shearer reckons we're gonna win the league. He says keeping Eoin Jess and Hans Gillhaus fit will be key.

Hearts are flying to Aberdeen from Azerbaijan and training at Cove Rangers' ground.

Enough current and ex-Dons at Cove to infiltrate the lunchtime kitchen to serve them 8 day old chicken sandwiches. Mitch Megginson, Findlay Marshall, Adam Emslie, Fraser Fyvie, Paul Hartley, Derek Soutar ... let's go

I don’t really know what to expect. We were poor second half against Dundee but obviously are on a great run. At the same time, hearts results have been very poor despite a euro win. Don’t think we lose, but a draw, maybe, sneak a 2-1 maybe, plus we’ve missed quite a few chances in games, maybe we take them and it’s 3 or 4-0.
our winning run will end, but why tomorrow. Hearts should tire and our high pressing should wear them down. And is it set up for unlucky 13 at parkhead??

3-1 us, nisbet, McGrath, shinnie

Also unsure of what to expect, and what that late win may have done for Hearts.Theyve been pretty rank all season otherwise, hopefully deflate them with an early goal and they resume falling apart.Gueye could have been useful in a game like this,I like his unpredictability. Not sure if Sokler or Duk comes into the reckoning for this, but surely not Ambrose.......at any stage

Yeah, hearts got a late win. But that costs energy playing that hard.

would rather see duk off the bench than Ambrose, even sokler. Could be the game all is forgiven when duk comes on and scores the winner??

Lacking power in there. Shinnie or Clarkson have to come off because we're winning very little in the way of second balls.

McGrath taking an extra touch every time so far.

Big half time talk this. Hearts getting the ball to dhanda far too easily.
