OrlandoDon
Poor today but finding ways to win. Hearts did a good job of helping us keep the run going. Missed chances, stupid needless red, and shankland is a total bellend. He deserved the red, he kicks the ball away and no booking, palaversa booked at the end for kicking the ball away. That inconsistency does my head in. needs to be much better though, last two games haven’t been great but still winning, can’t really complain. Couple of weeks to get some work in, although we’ll see plays away with their countries. lastly, nice dummy by sokler on the winner!

redordead
Ooft, that was twitchy. Great finish for the third. Fantastic to see duk back and terrorising hearts. Big decisions going forward as a few of the regulars struggled today. That said, it might actually have been better to see hearts get their hopes up before ruining their afternoon.
RicoS321
That was some game, and a great atmosphere. Especially we beat the jambo cunts of course. We looked nervy for large spells, with Molloy especially guilty of some horrendous play on the ball. Taking riding our luck to new extremes. That said, the subs all came on and performed really well, and we battled like fuck. Duk was immense when he came on, very much a game changer. Nisbet poor, as was Clarkson and McGrath, and on another day we comfortably lose that one. Hilarious that thon prick got sent off so needlessly, I'd have been raging if I was an aids ridden Edinburgh mink. A very enjoyable day out.
Elgindon
Peed I missed that, but listened intermittently on the radio on the way back down the road.Seemed to be a goal every time I switched on,though it had the feel of not going to be our day when they deservedly equalised.Great comeback though and another 3 points.Plenty still to work on for Thelin before the game at the Brendanbau, but Celtic possibly a bit off the pace currently, not the worst time to play them,..... hopes not overly raised though
OrlandoDon
I’d say jimmy learns from that one. There are days we start with palaversa, sivert, and shinnie at 10. More physical opponent. Shinnie’s pressing and energy higher up helps. Palaversa deeper helped when he came on too. Saying that, could argue today was a day we missed pape. being able to bring on Morris and duk wide is a big plus. Thought nisbet was poor, still looks heavy, unfit, and not overly mobile. Not my preference at 9 if that’s what he is.

His movement is good, and it brings Devlin into the game, but because he comes inside to make space, we're relying on pinpoint passing to get it to him, which doesn't happen often and so he doesn't get involved. Morris had the better game today

Morris had the better game today I think that’s what makes them both assets, two different types of winger. Same on the other side with McGrath and duk, on both sides we can play very differently. I didn’t really enjoy it, but obviously happy with the result. hearts were better for much of the game, and our midfield was off it today which meant for much of the time we were on the back foot. Same as the second half last week. On another day we get pasted. Curious to see how we approach Celtic, sit back and counter no diubt, as we have before and failed. less time and possession may well suit us, and the way a jimmy team tends to play. I’d consider duk at 9, possibly sokler. We’ll need a more mobile pressing player up top. never had an opinion on shankland before but thought he was a complete bellend today. Fortunate not to see red in the first half. Easy type to dislike.
Jute
They say sign of a good team is they find away to win even when playing poorly well we must be some team as we were shite for large parts of today. Completely over powered in midfield and centre of defence looked very shakey all game. As much as I felt subs made us worse last week they fairly improved us this week. We need to trigger that option in Palacersa’s contract now as there will be a big offer for him in the summer if he stays fit. We also need to get Kack McKenzie’s deal extended now as if this goes to January I can see a precontract from elsewhere being on the table. Train back is full of very quiet Hunbo’s who are all gutted at losing. It’s a very enjoyable journey.
Panda
Would have been a lot more comfortable had the game been refereed properly. Shankland should have been off before half-time, and thought we had a strong shout for a penalty too. Molloy was poor for the second game in a row. Central defenders, much like goalkeepers, seem to get protected a little more by managers, but I would drop him for Celtic away and play MacDonald. One year, maybe two. Jimmy’s style of play, including counter attacking, suits him. He’s been a tool which will have lowered interest, today was a good reintroduction. Sitting in the SS and it was a clear elbow to McKenzie...ref was on the blind side but the lino (old mannies term) must have seen it. I agree that McDonald should start at the tattiedome (actually thought he'd have started today). Would also start Palaversa instead of Nilsen as with him and Shinnie we are a bit immobile in the central area.

Don't think I'd drop him for the Tims, he's got enough in the bank to deserve his place. In terms of the ref, I thought he did okay. It's not unusual for a player to escape a booking for a first foul in a game, and he got the card out for Shankland on his second one. I quite like the fact that refs show a bit of leniency when it comes to second bookings too. Had Shankland been sent off before halftime it would have been very harsh. Not entirely convinced any of his other fouls after his booking were bookings in their own right. Otherwise, he kept the game moving and got the other bookings and sending off right. Seen a lot worse from refs, and him in particular, at Pittodrie.

Barring a couple of slack passes, he held our team together today and was the organizer out there. Shinnie like Clarkson spent much of the game being pushed off it by big boys. Said it already, against Celtic I’d drop clarkson. Play shinnie at 10 who will pressure and work their holding mids, sivert and palaversa can provide the muscle. Palavesa is creative too, I’m intrigued by this. Repeating myself twice, I’d play sokler or duk before nisbet too.

Yeah, it’s a tough one. Duk and sokler are probably fitter and faster but nisbet the better goalscorer most likely. Have the runner work the defense then bring a fresh scorer on to bag the winner?
