BigAl Posted November 12 Report Posted November 12 Bit early for match thoughts, just relieved to have a ticket as sold out now Never thought I'd be sweating on getting a ticket for a game in Paisley Quote
Tyrant Posted November 12 Report Posted November 12 I'll step aside and let the real fans get their tickets sorted for this one. Quote

Jute Posted November 12 Report Posted November 12 Got my tickets secured for this and Hearts away. Hibs ticket still to be confirmed but hoping mid week will make that easier. Quote

Well, I miss all dandies games these days, but I used to love a good away game. 2001/2 season I only missed 2 away games ... and only made it along to 2 home games - xmas win vs the Victims in the sna, and Danish Day vs Livi. pittodrie games were pretty much the furthest I had to travel back then Quote

BigAl Posted Thursday at 10:34 Author Report Posted Thursday at 10:34 Hoping that nae fucker sits in their allocated seat on Saturday so I don't have to sit in my allocated seat five rows from the front. Played there on a Saturday evening Scottish Cup game in atrocious conditions just before COVID lockdown. Same outcome would be just grand Quote
Jute Posted Thursday at 11:45 Report Posted Thursday at 11:45 Weather being potentially poor probably plays in to St Mirren’s more physical approach than ours. Assuming everyone is back from international duty fully fit we should have enough to get passed them even if it is blowing a gale. In Train then pub near Central to get another train to St James if it’s pissing down. Away end in my allocated seat to piss off Al Train back to capital 2-0 Nisbet and Duk Quote

BigAl Posted Friday at 10:36 Author Report Posted Friday at 10:36 Game must be in some doubt No issue for the team who will travel today but surely supporters travelling require to be taken into consideration The weather in Paisley doesn't actually look too bad but may be irrelevant https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cvged5y8qn2o Quote

OrlandoDon Posted Saturday at 14:49 Report Posted Saturday at 14:49 Sounds like a bit of a farce today, bit embarrassing for Scottish football in my opinion. The experts here yesterday said it may well be off, given the weather and forecast you shouldn’t have fans and teams fucking around on a day like this. Quote

An hour's delay isn't the end of the world on a Saturday. Better than a midweek replay. Given the forecast, it may even work out better for those travelling home to Aberdeen after. It's just a bit of light rain, not sure what all the fuss is about Quote
RicoS321 Posted Saturday at 15:17 Report Posted Saturday at 15:17 To be honest, we've had longer VAR delays Anyway, Morris starting is bad karma. McGrath and Clarkson is good if McGrath doesn't hog the space. Duk off the bench good. Sokler away from home maybe the right call. Quote

To be fair to Morris he’s earned it, although I still feel he’s better off the bench. I also wonder if the conditions suit topi who has probably more experience in this type of climate, where as I assume morris will have his snowsuit on to play. Quote
RicoS321 Posted Saturday at 16:11 Report Posted Saturday at 16:11 Interesting start. We're trying to draw them out, but failing to get it to anyone in their half. A real gap between Shinnie and Neilsen, and Clarkson and McGrath. Stream on fawa is awful. Not sure which channel it's piggybacking. Zero commentary is quite nice though! Quote
RicoS321 Posted Saturday at 16:20 Report Posted Saturday at 16:20 (edited) Wow. That's some slow defence. Edit: my stream doesn't even do replays. Edited Saturday at 16:21 by RicoS321 Quote
RicoS321 Posted Saturday at 16:31 Report Posted Saturday at 16:31 (edited) I take it nobody else it watching on a stream, and has a better one? I believe they've just had a ridiculously soft red, but the camera isn't following the ref, so I can't tell what he showed in the first place and whether he overturned it or not! Would be unusual for there to be a card in this fixture. Edit: ref went to VAR to look at yellow he'd given but didn't upgrade. Looked a yellow. Edited Saturday at 16:32 by RicoS321 Quote
redordead Posted Saturday at 16:32 Report Posted Saturday at 16:32 , never a red. Not even yellow for me. Dives in but gets the ball and misses Morris Quote
