manc_don Posted November 25 Report Posted November 25 Quick turn around and on paper, the perfect team to be facing. I’d hope we go for the jugular on this one, as they really are in honking form. didn’t work out for us on the weekend for one reason or another, but Im sure jimmy will have us fired up to respond to it. Do we have the whole stand for it? out bed work work 3-0 dons, nisbet, sokler and duk Quote
Jute Posted November 25 Report Posted November 25 Bottom deck sold out and two sections in the upper deck open for sale. Quote
RicoS321 Posted November 25 Report Posted November 25 Hopefully smash these cunts. St Mirren, Hibs and Hearts away are traditionally games that we pick up zero points in. Despite Hibs' form, they've looked okay in a few of their games before spontaneously combusting,so it won't be an easy one. If they can go relatively error-free then we could be in for a surprise. Obviously, I think if they make a mistake - and that goalie of there's certainly has a plethora of them up his gloves - that results in a goal, then I could see us tanking them. Will be interesting to see how we line up. I think Clarkson will drop out (which is a shame, as I actually thought he was the better of the two between him and McGrath) and probably Morris too. I think we'll start Nisbet and Topi, with McGrath and Duk, leaving Morris to score four when he comes on. I wouldn't be surprised to see one of the midfield two drop out too, although Palaversa has been poor in the last couple of games. Would like to see Polvara get some minutes. Quote
Jute Posted November 25 Report Posted November 25 Be interesting to see how the team react to Saturday’s result. Expecting them to bounce back myself. I would drop Clarkson and Morris to bench and start Keskinen and Duk. Clarkson’s form has shaded for me and Morris is more effective coming off the bench going against a tiring full back. I was not impressed with Palaversa on Saturday so would not change Nilsen or Shinnie if they are fit. Up front I would probably go with Nisbet. Hibs are a bin fire at the moment and we should be looking to win comfortably. In flat Lower deck of away end 2 minute walk back to flat. 2-0 Duk and Nisbet. Quote
manc_don Posted November 26 Author Report Posted November 26 Right Nisbet, time to break some hibbie hearts! Really want to see a positive reaction today! Quote
Tyrant Posted November 26 Report Posted November 26 Hibs have been fucking rank all season. Shite manager and clueless board. Polar opposite of us this season. But something tells me that it's not going to be the routine win for us that the teams' forms suggest. JMG. Quote
Jute Posted November 26 Report Posted November 26 Can’t believe Hibs are not selling away tickets for tonight. Plenty looking for tickets tonight. Quote

BigAl Posted November 26 Report Posted November 26 Missed kick off on Red TV, who is on co-commentary ? Quote
RicoS321 Posted November 26 Report Posted November 26 That's been coming. We've not been great again. Quote
manc_don Posted November 26 Author Report Posted November 26 From what I've seen so far, we've been pish. Doesn't surprise me we're 1-0 down. Quote
BigAl Posted November 26 Report Posted November 26 We have got exactly what we deserve so far 1 Quote
manc_don Posted November 26 Author Report Posted November 26 Clarkson on for Nisbet, hasn't done much but surprised. Quote
RicoS321 Posted November 26 Report Posted November 26 Great goal. Morris again with the run. Easy stuff. Quote
RicoS321 Posted November 26 Report Posted November 26 What a goal from Sokler though. A draw a fair result. Quote
Slim Posted November 26 Report Posted November 26 That third goal was on Rubezic, fuck knows what goes on in his head. Quote
redordead Posted November 26 Report Posted November 26 Had a few let offs there. Great goal from ester, although Morris must take a lot of that credit. Centre halves and the keeper are an issue. Don't seem to know who is doing what. I know Mitov is a great shot stopper but he's quite indecisive when the ball is in the box and the centre halves don't seem to know what to expect. All young but definitely could use some work Quote
Jute Posted November 26 Report Posted November 26 Very poor defensively tonight. Devlin hopefully isn’t badly hurt as Milne is clearly not a right back. Cover at full back positions is a must in January plus probably another centre back. Play like that on Sunday and we are in trouble. Quote

Over the piece you are correct, but by fuck scoring a worldly like that deep into add time and then not being able to see it out is tough to take. When all is said and done how many of us would have thought we would have completed our first round of games without defeat. Yes, performances have been disappointing in last couple of games but let's not knee jerk and start throwing individuals under the bus. We are still definitely work in progress. 4 Quote
Reekie_Red Posted November 26 Report Posted November 26 Aye exactly. It's easy to forget that this was always gonna be a 3 year project. Will be very interesting to see what JT does in the January window. He's got an eye for who to replace and when during game time. Does he also have an eye for what area of the team needs surgery?
