tlg1903 Posted February 12 Report Posted February 12 Fucks sake Manc It's the hope that kills you isn't it and I am hopeful of a win here? Tough game though Dundee's form has been patchy recently and it's not unreasonable to assume that Knoester and Tobers should know each other a little better now and another shutout isn't entirely impossible. I suspect most of the starting line up from Dunfermline will keep their places with the only big question being at CF. Does Jimmy bring Dabbagh or stick with Nisbet after a decent performance and goal? Fuck it, 3-0 dons, Dabbagh, Keskinen and Nisbet Quote
RicoS321 Posted February 12 Report Posted February 12 I'd just like to say that I quite like that you've put the date in the thread title. It threw me at first, but it's quite refreshing. 1 Quote
Jute Posted February 12 Report Posted February 12 Agree with tlg that line up will probably be that from Pars game. Personally I would not play Okkels but can’t see the manager dropping him. Hopefully get see Emslie for a bit. Expect Dabbagh to come off the bench at some point. Dundee seem completely unable to defend but do look like they can score. In Train then pub in town Away end Pub the train back to Capital 2-2 Nisbet and Keskinen Quote

In all honesty I have no idea why I did it, I was typing it when on a work call and I didn't realise I had included the date in the title until I posted it 1 Quote
tlg1903 Posted February 12 Author Report Posted February 12 Does anyone know how ticket sales are for this as it's not impossible, if the starts align, that I could attend? Won't know until the day though. Quote

I'm hoping to see Dabbagh get some minutes here, if only to hear loud chorus' of "we've got dabbagh, we've got dabbagh followed by, we've lost dabbagh, we've lost dabbagh". And please, any win will do, please. 1 Quote

Panda Posted February 13 Report Posted February 13 Well now, the apostrophe mistake has been made before, being responsible for Aberdeen twice chucking away a lead. Some of you don't salute magpies and it shows. Quote
Jute Posted February 14 Report Posted February 14 Manager has confirmed Mitov will be ready to return tomorrow. Quote
manc_don Posted February 14 Report Posted February 14 Major boost for the team. Hopefully this is the start of a settled back line for the first time in ages. Quote

RicoS321 Posted February 14 Report Posted February 14 Aye, he's been not too bad at all. However, he isn't a sweeper, and Mitov is vital if we want to advance it quickly up the park. I'd give him another week though, he was clearly rushed back too soon last time round. 2 Quote
BigAl Posted February 14 Report Posted February 14 Sokler, Polvara & Milne all back on the grass in training but obviously this game comes too soon for them. Hopefully our luck is turning back in our favour and we can kick on again Replicate our victory at Dens from earlier in the season and we could end the weekend back in third place again 2 Quote
manc_don Posted February 14 Report Posted February 14 I didn’t realise that, right at the right time too. We need our luck to change and fast. Quote
Panda Posted February 14 Report Posted February 14 Agree with @RicoS321, I'd probably give Mitov another week, and I don't think Doohan has done too badly. I think it'll be a battle; after two 6-0 defeats I don't think Dundee will be planning to knock it about and play pretty football. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Dabbagh start. Thelin likes to throw a new signing in from the start I've noticed. I'd start Palaversa to sit deep and spray the long passes. Nilsen and Shinnie to go disrupt Dundee's midfield ahead of him. Gueye and Keskinen both different players, but both capable of keeping Dundee's defence occupied in a way Okkels hasn't quite managed yet. 6-0 Aberdeen. Dabbagh with four goals, Keskinen one, and Nisbet one off the bench. NB: Not sure why Tobers doesn't have a number in the graphic, will raise it with the club next week. Quote
Jute Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 We have not won a single league game with Doohan in goal. He has concede 18 goals in 10 matches in the league. While he is not a bad keeper he is not a good one either. There are mistakes in his game and he does not command his box or instil confidence in his defenders. As long as Mitov is fit and ready to return I would get Doohan back on the bench. 1 Quote
Jute Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 @tlg1903 We might have a spare ticket for today if you are looking for 1. Will know in next hour or so. Quote
