BigAl Posted Sunday at 13:41 Report Posted Sunday at 13:41 Probably not the game we want this midweek. Celtic coming into this off the back of two disappointing (for them not me) results and probably wanting to make a point. They have no reason to rest anyone now so expect all their alleged big guns to start. For us, two league wins in succession, but can't see any way we will make it three. Big test for the new defence and hope we can avoid a demoralising hammering Out Work TV Bed 3-0 Lick our wounds, back up the road and start preparing for the visit of The Arabs. Quote
Jute Posted Sunday at 14:17 Report Posted Sunday at 14:17 Terrible time too be playing them as they will be itching to get back on track. Any news on injuries to Mackenzie and Devlin. Would not risk either if there is any doubt. This is on TV so no chance was giving them over £30 for resticted view ticket. Oot work then flat TV flat 2-1 Nisbet with our goal. Quote
OrlandoDon Posted Sunday at 16:53 Report Posted Sunday at 16:53 (edited) Free hit here, with utd hearts hibs and st mirren playing each other, lose to Celtic and its not a disaster. Hoping utd draw or lose. im assuming devlin will be out but shinnie at left back isn’t a disaster if Mackenzie misses too. Eager to see how our defense does here, plus id be inclined to start both nisbet and dabbagh, benching gueye. Be a bit more direct and let’s see what our new star striker can do. heart over head as always, 1-1. Bojan. Edited Sunday at 16:54 by OrlandoDon Quote
Panda Posted Monday at 14:58 Report Posted Monday at 14:58 Mackenzie fit but Devlin out, according to Thelin. I am one of the daft ones who has paid £35 for a restricted view ticket. Kinda feel obliged to go when it's a midweek game in Glasgow to boost the away nunbers. The ticket hasn't arrived yet mind you Quote

RicoS321 Posted Monday at 17:00 Report Posted Monday at 17:00 I intercepted a ticket in the mail for this one, but I'm not bothering to go. 1 2 Quote
Panda Posted yesterday at 01:40 Report Posted yesterday at 01:40 I'd go 4-3-3 for this one. Slightly more defensive than usual but then it is Parkhead. Could do with an extra man in midfield to track Celtic's movement; they could have Engels, McGregor, Hatate, Jota, Kuhn and Maeda all to keep an eye on. It does mean Nisbet playing up top by himself and he's been at his best linking up with Gueye or Dabbagh, but likewise wouldn't drop him after his recent performances, Dabbagh still an unknown, and Gueye doesn't do the running you'd need. If we do go 4-2-3-1 though then would start Dabbagh with Nisbet. Quote
Elgindon Posted yesterday at 09:16 Report Posted yesterday at 09:16 Expectations low, just keep it respectable enough to enjoy the Utd game Think we might score. 3 - 1 them (Nisbet) Quote
OrlandoDon Posted yesterday at 15:53 Report Posted yesterday at 15:53 Na, said already, go nisbet and dabbagh and be more direct, which we would do anyway. They don’t know dabbagh so gives them something to think about. 3-0 us, dabbaghx3 1 Quote
manc_don Posted 21 hours ago Report Posted 21 hours ago A rare occasion where the whole of Celtic park erupts when Dabbagh scores? have no expectations for this one. Them losing and it being an away game doesn’t bode well and they’ve got plenty of quality to see us out. Hopefully it just doesn’t set us back like the semi final did. out work work work 4-1 Tim’s, Dabbagh Quote
Jute Posted 21 hours ago Report Posted 21 hours ago Doohan back is an odd one. Nilsen and Shinnie together is a bit disappointing as well. 1 Quote
BigAl Posted 21 hours ago Author Report Posted 21 hours ago Tim's meantime as I predicted aren't fucking about and go full strength. Have the fear for this and not sure I am going to watch it Quote
Elgindon Posted 21 hours ago Report Posted 21 hours ago Mitov was good on Saturday, wondering if its just a precautionary, ease him back into things. Not sure why no Palaversa plus one of Shinnie/Nielsen,...ach well 1 Quote
manc_don Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago Shinnie and Nilsen don't work, this is the wrong time to be trying it. All it is doing is inviting pressure on us Thank fuck I cancelled RedTV and have a meeting so unable to watch this. 4-1 might be a bit optimistic. Quote

I actually think they're our most suited pairing, they rarely get in one another's way, unlike Nilsen and Palaversa. They just both got knackered at exactly the same time and started making errors turn about. 1 Quote
redordead Posted 19 hours ago Report Posted 19 hours ago What were our centre halves doing there? Both running to the same man. Not that I blame them for three overload. Okkels is pish. What a touch to give it away. Quote
redordead Posted 19 hours ago Report Posted 19 hours ago (edited) How many passes is el capitano going to sell short? Take that back okkels is so poor it's hard to criticise others for being slightly crap. Edited 19 hours ago by redordead Quote
Slim Posted 19 hours ago Report Posted 19 hours ago Mitov comes out to intercept the first goal and saves the third. Quote
Jute Posted 19 hours ago Report Posted 19 hours ago If I had bothered to head through I would already been on way home. Okkels, Doohan and Jensen all poor at goals. Shinnie and Nielsen both giving ball away. Quote

Otherwise, we've been not too bad, and the scoreline flatters them. Dabbagh struggling a little up front too. Quote

I think we can forgive the giving the ball away by Shinnie and Nielsen (Shinnie started poorly but improved), as they close quickly, and we're trying to play tight balls rather than just aimless punts. I agree about the poor play for the goals. I would add the Knoester was poor for one of them. Maeda was very obviously making space for the wide player, and Knoester allowed himself to be dragged right across his other centre half. He can see Tobers, all he has to do his stop his run, playing Maeda offside, and being in place to cut out the wide player. It was poor from a centre half. Quote
