I’d be inclined to put McGrath at 10 for gueye. We lack creativity and threat centrally. This will give topi and Morris space too if they have to squeeze central space.

Also devlin for Jensen. Jensen isn’t back but I think devlin offers more in attack and is more of a scoring threat. Something more for them to worry about and maybe get Morris more space too.

Jensen is all over the place, the Jambos are bullying him at every opportunity. Get Devlin on for him asap. Difficult to see who would come off for McGrath at this stage though, as Gueye has been good so far. Nisbet has barely touched the ball, but he is a constant nuisance

He’s pushing inside a lot to try to get Morris more space.

Taking Keskinen off when extra time is looming is a bit silly. I’d have him playing a central-ish free role and keep Dabbagh on the bench.

Dabbagh is gash. And we seem to want to walk it into position. Every time Hearts get it, you feel they could score. We are ridiculously pedestrian, and it's been like this long before Steinwender's red card. I dunno where the improvement will come from the bench either .... Devlin being the only change I can see that would improve things. Maybe Polvara to add a bit of beef in the midfield?

Will add, he’s not everyone’s favorite but Jensen is one fit fucker. Works so hard, plus the sprint to overlap on the counter in extra time. Every excuse to rest and he sprints to support instead. Shinnie too, what a shift for an old man.

I mean, great to be through to the final. But we were utterly boring. Only ones who got pass marks for me were Clarkson, Keskinen, Polvara and Gueye.

Jensen got picked apart time and time again. Palaversa was absent. Morris tried his best, but got marked out of the game. Dabbagh's goal was a strikers-instinct goal, but he had some shocking moments when he came on.

On the plus side, nice to see both Mitov and McGrath out there again. McGrath clearly not 100% yet, but his confidence grew with time on the field

I’m putting that down to mostly inexperience. We’re relying on players who are up and comers, and who are inconsistent. Morris, topi, Jensen, Clarkson, dorrington, Milne, even Boyd are young lads. Palaversa, knoester, dabbagh, papa, polvara, okkels not regular starters career to date and maybe never played in semis or finals at this type of level. Mitov and McGrath back from injury and prob not 100%. Nisbet while on form is limited. We expect a lot from our right and left back. Shinnie is the only senior ‘experienced’ pro, maybe nisbet. But it’s a nervy semi from an inconsistent team. We dominated the game, didn’t shoot ourselves in the foot, and found a way to win. Over the peace, good enough for me today!

Yes,not a great semi final,but not the worst. There was the odd flash of good play among some pretty dull other parts. Hoping Jimmy is also aware.

  Not holding much hope for the final,(assuming its v Celtic),but who'd have thought we'd put 3 past them last year....

Piece of piss, never in doubt. Some honking performances today, but we rode through it. Good to see that diving wee cunt Devlin get sent off, and I loved the way we knew that those dirty hammer throwers would go down to nine, so just played it calmly around them until then.

We were poor, but the back four were fine defensively (although not sure how Jensen lasted the match). Shinnie and Clarkson good. Palaversa poor, and Gueye might look good on the telly, but he's a complete liability. Either giving the ball away, or just ignoring his man, a terrible team player. Okkels good when he came on again, as was Keskinen before he went off. Morris largely anonymous. Polvara offered something when he came on. 

Anyway, gives us the chance for glorious failure next month.
