Ajja Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 Sounds like the Sun getting confused with us going back in to renew loan deals. Quote

manc_don Posted July 25, 2008 Report Posted July 25, 2008 Niculae has joined Dinamo Bucharest this morning. Shame that, would have liked him to stay at caley for one more season and us try and get him on a free. sheepheid Posted July 25, 2008 Report Posted July 25, 2008 This has probably been brought up already but..... Pressley could 'do a job for us' if we took him on a years contract. Admittedly past his best but so is David Weir and he's done a good job at Rangers. Plus, his experience might help Diamond and particularly considine? Quote

It's a touchy subject for some people But i'm inclined to agree with you, on a coaching level though, don't think I'd want him near the first team. Quote
Guest bloo Posted July 25, 2008 Report Posted July 25, 2008 on a coaching level though, don't think I'd want him near the first team. I had an acquaintance with a Scotland U-21 international recently who suggests that he is not a good coach at all. Quote

sheepheid Posted July 25, 2008 Report Posted July 25, 2008 I don't think I'd want him as a full time coach as he has no real coaching experience. I do think that although slow and getting on a bit, he could act as cover, help organise the defence when he plays and give the younger defenders a few pointers (dare I say, a bit like Derek Whyte did with Anderson!) Keithdandy Posted July 26, 2008 Report Posted July 26, 2008 The fact that he's a tim/hun/jambo is enough for me to think that its the most stupid thing we could do. As was said to me earlier he only needs to appear for tink united and he would almost certinaly be the devil Quote

Andrew Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 Has he not already played for them - at the start of his career? According to Wiki he made 100 appearances for them during 1995-98: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steven_Pressley. Quote
