TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 Burchil and Parker are about the same level except Burchill seems to be always injured. Burchill was the better prospect and if fit I would rather have him than a pishead who shagged Jade Goody . . . and apparently hasn't scored all season, even wi that behemoth. Quote

Kowalski Posted May 19, 2008 Report Posted May 19, 2008 Dons set to miss out on Parker Published: 19/05/2008 ABERDEEN look set to miss out on striker Keigan Parker, writes Andrew Moir. Parker is a free agent after being released by Blackpool. Jimmy Calderwood is interested in the striker but he looks set to continue his career in England. Southampton, Huddersfield and Swansea City have all expressed an interest in the former St Johnstone man. “Five or six clubs are interested in me and things hinge on a few different issues but I should know more in the next couple of weeks,†said Parker, pictured. The 25-year-old striker has failed to find the net in the Championship with Blackpool this season and has turned down a deal with the Seasiders. He had been expected to return to his native Scotland this week but will probably stay south of the border. Parker was a constant goal threat while Blackpool were in League One but has failed to hold down a place in the side since their promotion to the Championship. Parker chalked-up his 100th league appearance for Blackpool on back in December 2006 before slipping out of Simon Grayson’s plans. Quote
