Harcus Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 Bestival is probably the benchmark that other festivals should be following in the UK. The sheer amount of stuff to do is very impressive. I'll definitely be back! A 15-year-old girl has been raped at the Bestival music event on the Isle of Wight. The teenager was with friends at the festival at Robin Hill Country Park, Newport, on Sunday when she was approached by a stranger, police said. The girl, from the Isle of Wight, was then raped some time between 19:30 and 20:30 BST near the main arena. Detectives have appealed for anyone with information about the attack to get in touch. The suspect was described as black, about 6ft tall with braided hair and wearing a white top with a navy blue collar. Quote
