mizer Posted June 10, 2008 Report Posted June 10, 2008 Im very dubious about this alleged sponsor. Having never heard of them I googled them No results found for "Grampian Plastering". Quote
BrownyBrown Posted June 10, 2008 Report Posted June 10, 2008 My work are rumoured to be the sponsor.......... Weatherford. Where did you hear Grampian Plastering? I think that'd be quite good if true. I'd heard that it was likely to be an Oil Services company so wouldn't be surpised if it were Weatherford. Nice red logo so wouldn't look out of place on the strip. Just glad its nae BJ services! Quote

Superstar Tradesman Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Anyone think that the sponsorship announcement this week and the fact that Donald Trump is in town has got anything to do with each other? No, me neither. Quote
Penfold Posted June 11, 2008 Author Report Posted June 11, 2008 Supposed to be announced at a lunchtime press conference today. So check RedWeb next week for news. Quote
Guest swaddon Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Anyone think that the sponsorship announcement this week and the fact that Donald Trump is in town has got anything to do with each other? No, me neither. Hope not, I don't want to see Aberdeen playing with 'TRUMP' emblazoned on their shirts. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Hope not, I don't want to see Aberdeen playing with 'TRUMP' emblazoned on their shirts. I really wouldn't care as long as we were getting a truck load of cash for it, which is what it's about. Quote
Superstar Tradesman Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 I really wouldn't care as long as we were getting a truck load of cash for it, which is what it's about. Exactly. I can't remember anyone batting an eyelid at any other team's sponsor let alone giving them stick about it. Quote
Slim Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Wait until you see Dundee Utd's new sponsor, it's the chav range of clothing at JD Sports, Carbrini. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Wait until you see Dundee Utd's new sponsor, it's the chav range of clothing at JD Sports, Carbrini. Until you'd said that I would have had no idea who or what Carbrini was. In fact, I probably couldn't even tell you the rest of the league's sponsors from last season other than the OF. Quote
Guest Robo Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Someone on KKK Chat has said it is ComCab apparently......... No idea now..........so many names flying about. Quote
Slim Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Team Recruitment according to the official site. Quote

Both look pretty shit really, and clearly the high profile sponsor never materialised. Ah well, that's quite disappointing. Fingers crossed they are getting a decent sum for it, but I can't see it. Sweetchuck Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 I have to say, it looks really cheap and naff, IMHO. I actually preferred the look of the Photoshop version from a few days ago. Away shirt should have black crest & logo, or a red flash & Nike Swoosh. Who the fuck are Team Recruitment? I shudder to think how little they've had to pay, if they're the biggest name on offer. Quote
Guest ally s Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Both look pretty smart. I'll be buying the away top when it comes out. Quote
Guest Robo Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 2 high profile players modelling the kit aswell. Quote
Sweetchuck Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 2 high profile players modelling the kit aswell. I think our usual camera-hogger (Miller) is away on honeymoon. Presumably loads of the others are away on holiday too. Quote

Slim Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Didn't say which record was broken though... Quote
Stewart Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Didn't say which record was broken though... I was just saying that to Penfold a few minutes ago. Quote
