Drewsome Posted May 6, 2007 Report Posted May 6, 2007 for next week I suppose for the sending off today. I wasn't able to see the game ; what was the 2nd yellow for? Too much celebrating on his goal? Quote
BrownyBrown Posted May 6, 2007 Report Posted May 6, 2007 Removed his shirt = instant yellow I'm afraid. He also 'entered' the crowd (as did Chris Clark) apparently and according to the rules that comes under 'inciting crowd disorder' or something like that. The referee had no choice but to send him off. Suspended for the Celtic game and Chris Clark will be suspended for the Rangers game. Quote
Leerichardson40yrds Posted May 6, 2007 Report Posted May 6, 2007 Clark is maintaining that he didnt leave the park and it was mistaken identity. Might well have been Mackie who left the field. Can we not appeal it - a la Kingston- just so he can play in the Hun game? Quote

Reekie_Red Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 Eh? That's how fucked up the game is. You can appeal against violent conduct or for racially abusing a ref and get to play games that you shouldn't be playing in. But you can't appeal against celebrating one of the most crucial goals your team has scored all season? Fuckin joke, min! Quote
NPRC Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 Nicholson can hardly deny he did it though. Just cause Hearts cheated to get Kingston to play in a crucial match, two wrongs don't make a right. We can take the moral high ground and still be in Europe though Quote

Can appeal yellow for mistaken identity, apparently. Quote
