BobbyBiscuit Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 From the BBC Gossip section: Aberdeen are on the verge of sealing a deal to sign out-of-contract Dundee United midfielder Mark Kerr. (Daily Express) Think he would be a quality addition to the squad... just hope he doesn't decide to pass the ball back to the keeper too often. Quote

CtS Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Maybe he's coming in on the same flight as Kluivert. Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Maybe he's coming in on the same flight as Kluivert. Hopefully Kluivert ischn't driving from the airport to the broom cupboard at Pittodrie. Heard hisch driving isch murder. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted June 23, 2008 Author Report Posted June 23, 2008 Maybe he's coming in on the same flight as Kluivert. Unfortunately Jan Koller won't be on the same flight, he's going to Birmingham for £25k a week. We must have been so close to getting him... Quote

Wiggy could have offered him a hoose in Westhill as part of the deal. Alas, the lure of a Stewart Milne Semi wasn't enough to persuade the lad to sign. Quote
manc_don Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Wouldn't be a bad signing and at least its not worse than we have so I guess that would be a positive. Still got plenty more to sign and still awaiting the " big signing ". Do you think Mark Kerr will allow small fry like Kluivert to pose in the same picture? Quote

SuperKev82 Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 i'd be amazed if he signs for us as he'd be signing for a club with the same ambitions and chances of silverware etc as the one he's leaving. That's the sad fact of this league there's very little between us outside the filth. If he were to sign and it is a big if then could he play alongside severin? i would say both are very similar players and would surely struggle together. if we don't get in another ball player then we'll have either seve or touzani playing with mcdonald in centre midfield. mcdonald gets injured we've only got smith left who can play in midfield as the creative influence.
