Just come back fae holidays to find no new signings, when I left I thought we'd have two or three new faces in by the time I came back . Deluded fool! Quote

Wazzamatazz Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Heh. Just did a search for free agents aged 24+ and Alan Maybury was 4th on the list, pictured in a Dons top no less! Quote

JC says that he's looking at a number of players, but he won't panic buy and closing a deal for a player takes longer than it used to. So it's not all about making an offer for a player, having it accepted, discussing terms and signing any more, it's a lot more complex than that. Quote

You missed out the "contact clueless son for assistance" stage. It's not like they guaranteed us ten new signings or anything. Quote
mizer Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Quite a good idea by the PFA to do that for their members. It goes along with their non-agent contract talks with clubs with players. Quote
chunk Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 I see Colin Woodthorpe's on that list. Eesht. Initially I was surprised when I noticed Carl Muggleton, but that topped him... Quote
