jmo Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 Never understood a woman who changes sides just because your not together anymore! And they say they`re the far greater sex too. To be fair(ish) to her she did follow Celtic first (because of Scot McDonald) but converted to Aberdeen because of me...first game I took her to was Aberdeen against Celtic too. And she did buy an Aberdeen shirt after we split up for a 'momento'. Only reason I suspect she now supports Celtic was she phoned me up from Australia to laugh at me when Celtic won 5-1 at Pittodrie. Tyrant Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 What is a momento? You can't work out what he means? Quote

glasgowdon Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 I've only ever taken a lady to two Aberdeen games: The first one was Motherwell away in the CIS Cup where Smith missed a penalty - overall, a cold night and a shite game of football. The other time was against Hibs at Easter Road when we were two goals up after 15 minutes thanks to Crawford and Mackie. Good day out and a good night in Edinburgh afterwards. Mixed experiences but I was in a foul mood after that league cup game. Quote
Harcus Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 Mixed experiences but I was in a foul mood after that league cup game. I think everyone was. Almost certainly the worst game that I've had the misfortune to witness. Quote
mizer Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 The best looking wag I have seen is Pressleys wife, she is a stunner. Get him signed so she come to Pittodrie, would dive up attendances! Quote
Guest Caroline B Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 Speaking as one of the "birds", I really enjoy going to the football. I understand the laws of the game and everything you know! I started going when my dad took my brother and I was scared I was missing something, so he took me along too. I was hooked instantly. I usually go along to matches with my dad or uncle nowadays cause guys got too scared about how wound up I used to get during matches So to answer the question......Yes, I love going to see football! How apt. I only ever took a girlfriend to a game once... cup semi final v Hertz at Hampden, lost 2-1. That was the end of that... Quote

BobbyBiscuit Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 John Robertsons hand ball? I was at that game also, not with a bird though. yeah, we'd equalised through Shearer with about 5 mins to go i think, they went up the park and scored straight away. Awful day. Quote
