Some of you might be aware of the Christian Kisuka situation.

http://www.sundayherald.com/news/heraldnews/display.var.2381288.0.asylum_row_could_cost_scotland_a_football_star.php

There was a bit of a debate on the BBC AFC board relating to this.

Ultimately a petition was suggested.

____________________________________________________________________________________

Petition in favour of KISUKA gaining residency.

However if you feel so strongly against this petition you can create a counter petition against at the following site:

I would like to emphasise that this article is about and ONLY about the CHRISTIAN KISUKA situation it is NOT part of a wider debate on immigration.

In other words keep things civil!

Page doesnt open im afraid!

Will definately sign though, as it seems like a genuine case of where common sense needs to prevail.  He has shown himself to be a model citizen here in the UK, has built a firm home for himself and if he signs for us will certainly fill a skills gap.

im sure if he was set to sign for an english club, it wouldnt be a problem.

Not so sure about that

Last December Al Bangura, 19 year old watford player had his appeal against deportation rejected. Took serious backing from the FIFPro, David Blunkett, the local MP, Elton John and a protest from 18000 Watford and Plymouth Argyle fans before the home office decided he could stay till he got a work permit which he was eventually awarded in mid january.

If his mums application for assylum is accepted in France, could they then not come back as EU citizens.
