Mulgrew was without doubt best player on the park, but despite that I'm going to vote for Mair, simply because I expected the worst and in all honesty he absolutely strolled through the game

I said Smith. Full of running last night and looked like he would do something every time he got the ball. He lost possesion a few times but mainly due to the fact that there was nobody to support him and his only option was to try and beat a few players.

Mulgrew was good too, but didn't do much other than whip in some deadly crosses.

I went for Considine.  He was solid, never lost a tackle all night, and was causing the Ayr defence a lot of problems at set pieces.

i was going to jump on the mulgrew bandwagon, cause they guy was class, but for the full 90 mins mcdonald was excellent.  passing, forward runs excellent, a few times simply tracking back out pacing his opposite number he snuffed out attcks before they got going.  While nothing fancy he was a pretty complete box to box midfielder.  Stronger and faster than seve.

drab, routine, never looked in any danger, i didn't feel at any stage the result was in doubt, a little bit frustrated we didn't score more but hey ho.

Loved the ground though
