Edinburghdon
AFC have announced a promotion to draw more people in for the Hamilton game, good on them! Dads 'n' Lads.... To celebrate a traditional 3pm kick-off for our next home game against Hamilton on Saturday 13th September, we are going back to our roots and encouraging all those fathers out there to take their sons (and daughters) along to Pittodrie to experience live football at its best. The roar of the Richard Donald Stand, the smell of those famous Pittodrie pies, the chance to see your heroes in action, including new signing Sone Aluko..... there is no better way to spend a Saturday afternoon. And we are delighted to bring you a superb ticket offer for this game. Adults who purchase 1 ticket for the Merkland Stand will get 1 child under 12 in to Pittodrie for FREE! Supporters looking to take up this offer must purchase their ticket before 5pm on Thursday 11th September. We are also running an exclusive competition giving fathers and sons the opportunity to take to the hallowed Pittodrie turf in a half-time. Can the kids show of their tricks and skills to beat their Dads?! Or will the Dad's show the kids how it's really done? Up for grabs for the winners are home shirts and signed team posters. To be in with a chance of winning a place for you and your son, all you need to do is tell us the answer to this question:Dads n Lads ticket promotion "Which current AFC player has a father who also played for the Dons?" glasgow sheep
good idea always think these things are better if they can pay at the gate though. What I want to know is when will they be having a drunken male aged 20-30 day?
Guest swaddon
A very good idea from the club. Hopefully the team will turn it on as well and encourage some of the younger lads (and lassies) to keep following their local team and not be swayed by the English Premier League or those two clubs in Glasgow. Sweetchuck
In case there's anyone out there who doesn't know the answer, we can save you the embarrassment of having to ask, by giving you a hint. So, as a homage to Scotsport's sorely-missed retardathon competitions, take your pick from: a) Andrew Considine; b) Ming the Merciless; or c) General Augusto Pinochet. mizer
http://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/Article.aspx/834395 Jeffrey’s a doubt for Hamilton game By Andrew Moir Published: 12/09/2008 LEG INJURY: Jeffrey de Visscher. More Pictures DONS winger Jeffrey de Visscher is a doubt for tomorrow’s clash with Hamilton at Pittodrie, writes Andrew Moir. The Dutchman suffered a leg injury in the 3-3 draw with Fraserburgh in Derek Milne’s testimonial. Jimmy Calderwood is hopeful de Visscher will recover after Tommy Wright managed to shake off an ankle knock. Jamie Smith has definitely been ruled out of the Accies showdown with a calf problem. Initially, medical examinations suggest Smith will be sidelined for at least a fortnight. Sone Aluko is expected to make his Pittodrie return against the SPL new boys. Kowalski
Fuck's sake We started really well, could have had the game wrapped up in the first 15 minutes but it soon deteriorated into a shambles. Mackie missed a sitter just before half-time, but both Hamilton's goals were defensive errors from us. The first we failed to clear the ball at least 3 times, and the 2nd goal was a total shambles for Considine - although I'm not sure whether Langfield could have done more or not. Not happy. We should not be losing at home against Hamilton.

BringBackLapirasTache
Shite crowd, good start before the usual long ball hoof tactics from Jimmy. Well played Hamilton A question is there a team who play more high balls than aberdeen in the SPL? and Mackie another great performance, no skill, no pace, no brain and minimium effort.
