??? Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 just recently signed by Calderwood. He aint going anywhere folks. Quote
dave_min Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 That was definately worth starting a new thread for that. [/sarcasim] Quote
Kowalski Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 That was definately worth starting a new thread for that. [/sarcasim] Its a reasonable point though. While it may be the time for a new manager, it would be quite expensive to sack him unless they could come to a "mutual agreement". Calderwood will probably get until xmas. If we're still struggling badly then fan pressure, low crowds etc... would force the board to act. Personally speaking, I hope it doesn't come to that though. Quote
??? Posted September 25, 2008 Author Report Posted September 25, 2008 That was definately worth starting a new thread for that. [/sarcasim] Yeah, it was. The chances of JC getting sacked are very slim. What would his pay-off be? Quote
baggy89 Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 I was having a look on the Aberdeen mad forum this morning and there was a gadgie on there suggesting that it wasn't a three year contract that was signed? Likely bullshit from someone who desperately wants people to think he is in the know (and I'm worse for repeating it), but...? Quote

mizer Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 Yes there will be a cost to letting him go, but there is the cost of reduced attendances at Pittodrie. The board will weigh it up. Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 I don't want it to come to Calderwood getting the car boot exit but things are a bit grim at the moment. I was one very unhappy bunny after the game and I was very much in the majority. He'll have a lot more time than folk are attempting to make out on here though. Quote
