Interesting to read a hibs fan's view on the game, sure I've heard that somewhere before Right, Hibs are currently shite, Aberdeen aren't that much better. No doubt, however, that Hibs will lose again after Mixu plays midfielders at the back and bemuses us all again with 5 forwards running into each other. But Jimmy Calderwood’s men plan to turn the tables against Hibernian at Easter Road tomorrow. The Edinburgh men have failed to win in five SPL matches since defeating Aberdeen at Pittodrie last month and the Easter Road crowd vented its frustration during and after last weekend’s 2-1 home defeat by Caley Thistle. There has been similar anger at Pittodrie this season – with many Dons supporters growing frustrated on Tuesday night before Andrew Considine and Sone Aluko scored late goals to earn victory against St Mirren. Aberdeen, fifth in the SPL table, have an enviable away record, trumped only by the Old Firm, which adds confidence they can inflict further anguish on the Hibs support as the Edinburgh club languishes in eighth place. Calderwood said: “We will be hoping to frustrate their supporters as other teams try to do when they come to Aberdeen. It is not easy and it takes character to get through times when supporters are not happy. “That was what impressed me on Tuesday night. There were a couple of occasions when the crowd was getting on top of them. “The players could have put up the white flag but they kept going and managed to come out the other side. “It would have been easy to hide but they showed spirit and they got the rewards. “It has taken a while to get into the top half of the table and we want to stay there and push on.†Calderwood will assess the fitness of attackers Jamie Smith and Tommy Wright before considering his options before the reopening of the transfer window in January. Smith has recovered from a virus but faces another two weeks of rehabilitation on his calf injury, while Wright is also a fortnight away from returning from his Achilles problem. Calderwood said: “The priority has been getting us out of trouble. I have not been to England at all this season because we have had too much to sort out in training.†Midfielder Mark Kerr has been struggling with a slight knock but Calderwood is confident he will be in the side tomorrow.
