??? Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 Given the credit crunch, just how many banks are going to bankroll cool vibe pubs with a mixology theme? Keep an eye over your own back barkeep. You'd be surprised Mr Funster, I'll be alright, thanks for your concern though. Quote
mizer Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 Headlining T in the park, so I'm happy. Quote

Kowalski Posted April 24, 2009 Author Report Posted April 24, 2009 Still no Scottish dates apart from TITP? Quote
dave_min Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 Still no Scottish dates apart from TITP? Glasto & Hyde Park no enough for you? 'Kowalski deserves better' BMG Quote
Kowalski Posted April 24, 2009 Author Report Posted April 24, 2009 Glasto & Hyde Park no enough for you? 'Kowalski deserves better' BMG Only going to Glasto now! Quote
dave_min Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 Only going to Glasto now! I'm not sure i'm even going to go to Hyde Park anymore. If I do it means that i'm going to Hyde Park on the Sunday, then Hampden on the Tuesday, then back to Hyde Park for the Friday, and I can't really be done with all that. I did consider getting Newcastle tickets this morning, but decided Franz Ferdinand would be a better option (I ended up with neither though ) Quote
Cowie Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 I did consider getting Newcastle tickets this morning, but decided Franz Ferdinand would be a better option (I ended up with neither though ) Apparently online sales for blur lasted all of 10min.. only think there were 400 tickets online & 800 at the box office. Franz Ferdinand at Newcastle? they are still on sale at ticket web... £20 + cunto booking surcharge. My flatmate and myself went down to queue for the blur tickets at 7.30 this morning, were 98th in the queue. The guy in front of us got all the way to the front (10am by this point) and realised that he had forgotten his bank card! Shame for him.. but funny as fuck for everyone else. Quote

I tried on both the Box Office and Ticketmaster, but both sold out. They're still on sale at Seetickets, but my mate phoned to say he'd got me and that now I need to get him a ticket for Ibrox, so, Happy Days! Quote

dave_min Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 Caird Hall for me. Caird Hall is pretty good. They had the common sence to build it on a sloped floor, unlike the damn Music Hall. Only thing is they don't let you take drinks into the hall. You must drink at the bar, that was an arse. Quote
dave_min Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Blur + Hyde Park = amazing! Words fail me to explain how good it really was Quote

BobbyBiscuit Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Fantastic, well looking forward to that Quote
dave_min Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 Awesome! Their Hyde Park gig was up there with the best i've ever been too! Quote
mizer Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 I wasn't too enthused when I saw them at TITP, they were good but I expected something extra. Possibly due to us standing at the back and that I had just been in the insanity of the Pendulum crowd. Quote
Kowalski Posted December 2, 2009 Author Report Posted December 2, 2009 I saw them at Glastonbury and T in the Park. Glastonbury was the best festival gig I've ever seen. T in the Park was a bit rushed and curtailed due to coming on late. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 Saw them loads of times the first time round. "Sing" at the Barras is one of my all time favourite gig moments, absolutely epic. Quote
