BobbyBiscuit Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 how has it been for the Dons? Amazing highs of being in the lead against the mighty Bayern twice, to the unbelievable lows of losing to Queen of the South (thanks again to the group of Hibs lads who consoled me in a Madrid pub at the final whistle of that game... close to tears) and taking a tonking off the Jutes in the other semi. How would you sum up the year for us? Do we go into 2009 with hope and general optimism, or with a bit of fear and anxiety over the playing staff/manager/board etc? Quote
minijc Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 The year on a whole was frustrating but great, one week punching above our weight then the next getting humped from teams we should be humping. Quote
manc_don Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 The year that could have been even better than it was. That said, i thoroughly enjoyed it and wouldn't swap it with any other spl team! Quote
Guest swaddon Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 It was not a bad year, sets us up nicely for the best year in the club's history since 1990. 2009 - Year Of The Sheep Quote
