Kowalski Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 What's happening to me? Why can't I just buy lager? Am I getting old? I prefer to think I'm just buying this stuff cos it's from the Shire! Real ale festival for you in June! Quote
Andrew Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 9 Calsberg and 4 Stella. Feel really tired though. Should probably get to bed. And a bit sick. Drunk the beers too fast I think. Quote
Kowalski Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 I'll go to the real ale festival if you'll go to Lenny D or the mighty Gabberdeen in June! No chance! Quote
mizer Posted April 16, 2009 Author Report Posted April 16, 2009 Got a couple of bottles of brahma left in the fridge so finish them off just now. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 gadz - wierd bitter taste from that stuff - I got some when it first came oot cos it was mega cheap - never again. Tastes as though there's Fairy Liquid in the bottle or something eh? Quote
manc_don Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 Brahma is possibly one of the worst beers i've ever had the misfortune of drinking! Absolutely rubbish. Quote
mizer Posted April 16, 2009 Author Report Posted April 16, 2009 I find it inoffensive, wouldnt buy it myself but if my mate wants to buy it and leave it here - I will drink it. Got to drink what you have available! Quote
Andrew Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 No wonder all they drink is duff, look at the alternatives. Quote
Harcus Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 I don't mind Pabst - cheap n nasty, just the way I like it! The trouble n strife, however, does not like it - makes me a bit gassy. In fact, might crack a can just now! Quote
mizer Posted April 17, 2009 Author Report Posted April 17, 2009 Why did I drink the brahma last night, back in from a few drinks after work and nothing to drink in the flat Quote
Goldie03 Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 1 pint of Tropicana Ruby Breakfast juice. Got a 1½ hour drive early tomorrow. Then mates wedding which is a BYOB affair in a hired castle. For my BYOB... 18 bottles Carlsberg Export, 1 bottle Prosecco, 1 bottle Chianti Riserva, 1 Bottle Jack Daniels, 18 tins of Diet Coke. That should keep me going till tea time at least when I might need to drive to the offy!!! Quote
