Edinburghdon Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 For progress - East Fife at Pittiodrie You manage to fix the draw or something?... Good draw, home tie against one of the smaller clubs. Really glad we avoided any of the SPL teams Quote
Ajja Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 Not too exciting but should see us progress big crowd for that one ? Quote
Ajja Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 4 all SPL ties is it ? ICT v Killie Hearts v Falkirk Motherwell v St Mirren Hamilton v UTD With Hibs going today thats almost half the SPL gone before the next round draw. Quote
Stewart Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 So when's the last time we got a lower league team at home in the Scottish Cup? Quote

BigAl Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 About as good as it could have been I guess. Surely even we can't cock that one up Quote
Guest swaddon Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 So when's the last time we got a lower league team at home in the Scottish Cup? About 20 minutes ago! Quote
Guest swaddon Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 About as good as it could have been I guess. Surely even we can't cock that one up No, we won't cock it up, but we'll go one goal up early on, and then just defend for the rest of the game rather than giving the long-suffering home supporters what they want, which is a hatful of goals. Ajja Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 Eats Fife were a very useful side in division 3 last season but they took a while to get going in div 2 this season but are doing reasonably well now. They are a better side than Alloa and will not be a push over but we should dispose of them without too much difficulty at Pittodrie. Quote
Jute Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 Decent draw for the club but cannot see fans turning out in force for it unless they consider droping the prices. Quote
CtS Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 4 all SPL ties is it ? ICT v Killie Hearts v Falkirk Motherwell v St Mirren Hamilton v UTD With Hibs going today thats almost half the SPL gone before the next round draw. Still potentially 7 spl sides out of eight teams in the quarter final draw. This draw's been good to us, it's seeing off Utd or Hearts or similar in the quarter final that will be the tricky bit. Hopefully it'll be our year. Quote
Harcus Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 Decent draw for the club but cannot see fans turning out in force for it unless they consider droping the prices. Free for ST holders, fiver for everyone else Do East Fife have to agree to any price reduction though? They get half the gate receipts I think? Quote
