United and Hearts

Quite gutted about these two getting wins on saturday but the important thing is to stay in touch with them. The games on 14th and 21st will be so important for us. But obviously we have the Falkirk game before that, but I think we should get a result against them. I even think that maybe not being third might be a blessing as this means we won't be in the media and the players won't feel the pressure for the race for third. February should be an interesting month.

 

They then play each other after we play them both, it will be a crucial month....as always 

 

Hearts are away to Hamilton next weekend, they are a team on great form at the moment. I wouldn't be certain of Hearts picking up points there.

Until the split it for no real reason and then give half the teams nothing to play for.   

 

Not necessarily true if you look at the league table. 

 

If it stays this close then you'll have the Old Firm fighting it out for the title, us, Lithuania and Dundee United fighting it out for 3rd (Hibs could still get back in this as well), and 3-4 teams fighting against relegation (Hamilton, St. Mirren, Falkirk and ICT probably).

 

Should make the split very interesting.  Seem to remember something similar happening a few years back (Rangers won the league on the last day and we beat Hearts 2-0 although Hibs pipped us for Europe)

Just watched the highlights of the United and Hearts games, how the f*ck did they both manage to win?  St Mirren should've scored 4-5 in the first half and ICT had a couple of great opportunities in their game as well.  Some bizarre refereeing decisions in favour of Hearts.
