tom_widdows Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 Tbh be honest, I was just taking the piss. There's pretty much no way round the system. If some cunt goes and buys all the cheap tickets early, then we all win by getting a half decent crowd. or if no-one bought those tickets from then, a shit crowd but with some cash in advance Quote
manc_don Posted December 14, 2011 Report Posted December 14, 2011 I didn't realise Odense BK were Dutch http://www.channel5.com/shows/uefa-europa-league-football-live/articles/watch-the-match-live Quote
tlg1903 Posted December 14, 2011 Report Posted December 14, 2011 Clint dempsey for me is easily the most under-rated player in the epl Quote
Tyrant Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Dempsey is a horrible cunt. Hope he shits a hedgehog. Quote
manc_don Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Dempsey is a horrible cunt. Hope he shits a hedgehog. Really? Why? One of the most honest players in the league imo. Quote
Tyrant Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Really? Why? One of the most honest players in the league imo. Got away with a yellow card for head butting Craig Bellamy. And for once in his life Bellamy didn't provoke it. Bellamy challenged him and he tumbled but it looked innocuous and there was nothing in it. So I came to the conclusion that contrary to popular opinion Dempsey is a cunt. We've all known for ages that Bellamy is. Quote

Tyrant Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 I don't mind Bellamy but I was sure there were words said before the incident? Perhaps but it looked like it was prompted when they both tumbled to the ground. I'm almost certain Dempsey took exception to the challenge (of which there was fuck all in). Admittedly the fact that he got away with it pissed me off just as much if not more. If Bellamy did that the ref would've ripped his pocket trying to get his red card oot quickly enough. Quote

Tyrant Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 Watching Bayern v Koln there and Bayern had a free kick. The ball was hit so hard the bladder came out. I don't think I have ever seen that in a professional game. Who took it? The same player that took that one against Langfield? Quote

rocket_scientist Posted December 20, 2011 Report Posted December 20, 2011 Fail to Prepare, Prepare to Fail Mr Keane would be well advised to take a lesson from Mr Coyle. Tonight's crucial win by Bolton may well have consigned the utterly shite manager of the utterly shite Blackburn to football management obscurity. Should the baldy fat cunt ever get a chairman mad enough to give him a gig in the future, he would be well advised to learn from the wise Owen. As we can clearly see, Coyle is dressed for the job, joining his players in the changing room before and sharing ablutions after. The ill-named fat bastard isn't so keen to get his kit off so what the fuck does he expect. Loser. Quote
Superstar Tradesman Posted December 21, 2011 Report Posted December 21, 2011 So Ian McCall's a winner for sporting a tracksuit but Fergie's a loser for wearing a shirt and tie. Cuckoo. Quote
rocket_scientist Posted December 21, 2011 Report Posted December 21, 2011 The maddest thing in the world is managers getting changed into shorts for a game they won't be playing in. It's only slightly retarded when one misinterprets posts. Quote

manc_don Posted December 21, 2011 Report Posted December 21, 2011 Play has been suspended in a Dutch football association KNVB cup match after a fan ran onto the pitch and attacked AZ’s goalkeeper Esteban with flying-kick. The goalie, who saw the supporter at the last minute, reacted by kicking him twice. Esteban was shown a red card by referee Bas Nijhuis. AZ trainer Gertjan Verbeek was furious and walked off the field taking his team with him. The game has now been abandoned. The incident took place five minutes before half time when Ajax was 1-0 ahead. Reactions were streaming in on the Netherlands most popular newspaper just minutes after the bizarre incident. Like this one by L. Veenstra from the city of Nijmegen: "Shameful!!! Am a fanatic ajax supporter. Shameful that 1 supporter ruins it for the rest! Completely understandable that Verbeek called his team off, the rules might stipulate so, but how can you give him a red card for this! Goalkeeper was just defending himself." Didn't something like this happen recently? Can't say I blame the goalkeeper. Quote

manc_don Posted December 21, 2011 Report Posted December 21, 2011 essentially echoed the same sentiments and that he was surprised the ref had sent him off. Also said the keeper didn't need anyone elses help and could handle himself He also said that he didn't blame the manager for taking the team off the pitch if the officials couldn't guarantee their safety. Didn't blame AZ or the goalkeeper one bit. Praised the keeper for having his wits about him. Quote

Anyone who wants to charge onto the pitch to attack a player, frankly deserves a kicking, and the boy got off lightly in my opinion given the fact the keeper didn't catch him as cleanly as he could have. tom_widdows Posted December 21, 2011 Report Posted December 21, 2011 Did some prick not run onto the pitch at pittodrie in 1993 and try to attack the ref or one of the torino players only to be decked by either Brian Irvine or Duncan shearer before being escorted from the pitch by the extremely slow plod? Dont recall a red card being issued for that. It is getting stupid now. Remember that player getting sent off for rugby tackling a streaker in a non league english game earlier this year? Quote
