manc_don Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 I thought it was interesting, not particularly entertaining but interesting nonetheless. Savic looked to be a very poor defender. Hansen has been saying for the past few months that Kompany is the key man at city and he looks to be right if last night is any indication. You could tell City had no leadership at the back without Kompany and completely agree, Savic looked like a bombscare! Didn't he cost them a fair bit of money? Quote
Mentorred Posted January 14, 2012 Report Posted January 14, 2012 Paul Scholes he scores the goals. Legend!!! Quote
manc_don Posted January 15, 2012 Report Posted January 15, 2012 Swansea - arsenal has been decent. Arsenal equalised for the second time and Swansea run up the other end and score to regain the lead. Quote
tlg1903 Posted January 15, 2012 Report Posted January 15, 2012 Aye it was a good game of football I thought. Just wish every had shown a close up of the arsenal fans when swansea went up the other end and scored Quote
Kowalski Posted January 15, 2012 Report Posted January 15, 2012 Swansea v Arsenal was very good. I know he wasn't commentating on that game but is anyone else tired of Ray "My word" Wilkins? He's a knowledgeable chap but his co-commentary really grates. Quote
Stewart Posted January 15, 2012 Report Posted January 15, 2012 He's probably one of the better studio pundits but his commentary is terrible. Would have been fantastic if Sky had shown one more replay of Walcott's goal. They'd have missed the winner. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted January 15, 2012 Report Posted January 15, 2012 Milan derby tonight - pretty entertaining, end to end. On the goal that decided the game... Craig Burley said; "Milito can't be happy there, not a clean strike at all..." There's the difference. Milito is a top class player, Burley has never been. Milito measured his finish because he is that good a player. ESPN having him and the Geordie Penlantee Misser confirms them as the urchins at Sky's table. Quote
Tyrant Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 I see Mr. Wenger is greeting aboot the penalty. One of the more clear cut ones I've seen for a while. Quote
manc_don Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 I see Mr. Wenger is greeting aboot the penalty. One of the more clear cut ones I've seen for a while. I actually think it was the first occasion I agreed with Wenger. Can see why it was given, but I thought it was a tad harsh. I still think Swansea deserved the win anyway, but it was an unfortunate penalty for Arsenal to concede. Quote
Tyrant Posted January 17, 2012 Report Posted January 17, 2012 Really? I thought it was a clear penalty like. Quote
Madbadteacher Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 Watching Norwich v Chelsea 0-0 with 12 mins left, Torres subbed and missed a sitter earlier! Quote
Kowalski Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 Kenny Dalglish warns Liverpool after defeat at Bolton Dalglish said: "I don't think the approach was correct. I don't think the way we went about our work was correct. "If that's the level they expect this football club to play at, they won't be here long. "The most disappointing thing for me was I don't think they were ready to play the game." Which bit of that is not the manager's responsibility? Quote
glasgow sheep Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 Hibs losing and the Pars winning was nice to see. Dunfermline play Motherwell midweek who have been shite recently so there must be a decent chance of seeing hibs bottom. Hibs relegated has a nice ring about it Quote
tlg1903 Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 Another blinding performance by clint dempsey yesterday, I'm surprised no bigger clubs have bid for him the past year Quote
scotfree Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 What a finish to the Man City V Spurs game! Quote

manc_don Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 You'd hope so. I like him as a player, but after seeing that he definitely deserves the book to be thrown at him! Amazing that Parker just carried on, lucky not to have sustained any serious injury. Quote
manc_don Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 He fell. He did but there was a definite kicking motion towards Parker. I'm not sure if he realised he was kicking out at his head...not that that makes things better! Quote
glasgowdon Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 He did but there was a definite kicking motion towards Parker. I'm not sure if he realised he was kicking out at his head...not that that makes things better! Nah, it was defo an accident. Quote
