TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted March 6, 2012 Author Report Posted March 6, 2012 Fooking hell Assumed it was a lost cause for them and never even bothered watching or checking it. Need to get the second half on now That's that fucked then! Think I'll watch the Benfica game now. Quote
rocket_scientist Posted March 6, 2012 Report Posted March 6, 2012 I finished watching a taped recording of Lou Reed's Transformer, switched over to catch the third and I don't know which viewing is the more avant garde. The miss by El Shaarawy was 100% awesome goalkeeping. I said on his debut that the young Arsenal keeper reminded me of Schmeichel. He's still learning his art but that was fantastic goalkeeping right there. Sheer genius. Quote
Penfold Posted March 6, 2012 Report Posted March 6, 2012 Quite enjoying Neville as co-commentator here. Actually got an insight into what he thinks the players should be doing instead of the usual "they need to push on", "its been a good game eh" comments. Quote
rocket_scientist Posted March 6, 2012 Report Posted March 6, 2012 Very difficult to decide who has been the most useless and error-strewn? It's between Ibra and the ref. Gutless second half. Same old Arsenal. Same old Arsehole Arsene. Quote

glasgow sheep Posted March 6, 2012 Report Posted March 6, 2012 Looks like County are sewing up the 1st Division championship. 3-0 win vs Thistle tonight putting them 9pts clear of Falkirk and still a game in hand. At the other end of the table our Cup foes QotS look in serious trouble. Also win for Elgin tonight who are, unbelievably, looking good for a play off place Quote
manc_don Posted March 6, 2012 Report Posted March 6, 2012 Was at the emirates tonight, cracking game though completely spoiled by the referee the spineless prick. Milan didn't come to play football but arsenal should have sewn the game up themselves. Cracking atmosphere though my hands are still blue. Its Baltic out there! Quote

Madbadteacher Posted March 6, 2012 Report Posted March 6, 2012 Watched the Benfica Poto game on comcast here, pretty poor effort from Zenit. Mind you the game was also spoiled for me by the commentary from Gary something and Gary Birtles who spent most of the match commentating on how great Howard Webb was as a referee Quote
manc_don Posted March 7, 2012 Report Posted March 7, 2012 Definitely wasn't a freebie, £60, but for entertainment and atmosphere like that it was worth it. I never knew Arsenal fans had it in them to be passionate. Just a shame they couldn't take it to extra time. I think in my few times of having seen Arsenal live and on TV, that was the best I've seen Rosicky play. Everything creative went through him and completely bossed the midfield. Quote
tlg1903 Posted March 7, 2012 Report Posted March 7, 2012 Aye he's really returned to form the past 3 weeks. I remember him looking a player at Dortmund but not seen much evidence of this in england Quote
mizer Posted March 7, 2012 Report Posted March 7, 2012 Oocha, Leverkusen getting bummed by barca. 6 nil doon after 60 mins Quote
Edinburghdon Posted March 7, 2012 Report Posted March 7, 2012 Oocha, Leverkusen getting bummed by barca. 6 nil doon after 60 mins Some of Barca's goals have been fantastic, as usual! Shite goalkeeping for the 6th though! Quote
BigAl Posted March 7, 2012 Report Posted March 7, 2012 Messi simply is the best player in my life time. No one comes close to him, including Pele and Maradona Quote

tlg1903 Posted March 7, 2012 Report Posted March 7, 2012 Leverkusen looked a very average side tonight it must be said but that second chip in particular was phenomenal. Do want to see that guy play in the flesh before he retires Quote
Tyrant Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 Messi is just un-fucking-real. What a star. Quote
glasgowdon Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 Leverkusen looked a very average side tonight it must be said but that second chip in particular was phenomenal. Do want to see that guy play in the flesh before he retires Do it. He bagged a hat trick when I was there. Quote
Superstar Tradesman Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 Do it. He bagged a hat trick when I was there. I've seen him play for Argentina and once in an El Classico. He bagged a hatrick in that as well. Not that it seems to be that rare an occasion these days. His goals to games ratio must be through the roof. Quote
CtS Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 His goals to games ratio must be through the roof. It's right up there with Darren Mackie's. Quote
BigAl Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 It's right up there with Darren Mackie's. Think you'll find in the Dazzler's case, it is actually misses to games ratio Quote
glasgowdon Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 Right up there with Darren Mackie's last shot on goal. Quote
Kowalski Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 I think Rafael might be getting a tea urn thrown at him after this game. Quote
maverick sheep Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 I think Rafael might be getting a tea urn thrown at him after this game. how him and fabio (and carrick) have played so many games is a mystery...well no it's not actually, united are more in debt than the huns so they can't afford any better. easily the worst utd team i've ever seen. still fancy them to win the league mind.
