I would not swap any of our midfield for that rat.

So many Hun fans on social media think we actually miss him. Why would we miss a kid who refused to sign and only started playing when he knew he was in the shop window? Judas prick

I don’t understand what we are missing and I’m trying to be as impartial as possible. Rama was better shinnie is better, sivert is better, palaversa so far appears better or at worst on par. I’d compare Barron to polvara, who I see struggling for game time when fit, as would Barron if he were in this squad.

Obviously there are different types of midfielders, but Barron isn’t particularly fit, fast, strong, skilled, dominating, aggressive, scoring threat etc….??

He's a very good young prospect who would have done well in our first eleven if he'd stayed. He didn't only start playing when he knew he was in the shop window, in reality he didn't sign a contract, despite attempts, since returning from kelty on loan. He went through the inconsistencies you'd expect from a young player and suffered from bad management, particularly under Goodwin and Robson (although that could have been his refusal to sign a contract). We don't miss him, because he was never really given the opportunity to be missed until his time was almost up at the club. We would definitely have benefited from having a player of his ability in the squad, but that's still based on his potential and future value to the team rather than something we actually experienced. He was easy to replace, unlike say Ferguson or Jack, because he hadn't actually got to the consistent stage with us when he left. Hopefully he'll fail to cope when the inevitable Hun meltdown occurs and his career goes down the tubes. We don't want that as an example for our other young players.

With Ethan Ross getting a couple, it's a fine day for the former Dons' legends XI

A draw would have been preferable in the killie and hibs games. They misread the guidelines of being in the former dons legend elite club. Admission refused.
