BigAl Posted November 12 Report Posted November 12 Scott Brown's Ayr Utd two down inside 12 minutes to East Kilbride. Coverage on BBC Quote
Jute Posted November 12 Report Posted November 12 Comfortably behind as well. East Kilbride well deserving of their lead. Good to see BBC commentator has no idea of who plays in same league as East Kilbride. Mentioned teams from league below. Quote
Jute Posted November 12 Report Posted November 12 Decent game this. Ayr got it back to 2-2 but East Kilbride just gone 3-2 up. Quote

RicoS321 Posted November 22 Report Posted November 22 Ryan Duncan unused sub for QP tonight. Shame, it's not really working out for him. He's still only 20, and has some good attributes, but he'll need to do something special if he's going to make it for the Dons. It's a pity that none of our young players are benefiting from the minutes being shared throughout the squad. I think we could have carried someone like Duncan in games this season to try and build his confidence. It does seem to be a confidence issue, as he's not a terrible footballer. Ethan Ross looking good again. A very strange career so far, but still plenty of time for him to give it a shot in the top league. Looks like he might be one of those that will stand out in the championship but might not cope with the move up a division. Quote
Jute Posted November 23 Report Posted November 23 Queens Park keeper Calum Ferrie looked decent tonight and one to keep an eye on. Ethan Ross was best of outfield players and looks like he could play at higher level to me. I would have thought Ryan Duncan would have added pace to Queens Park’s pedestrian attack so was surprised he didn’t play. 1 Quote
Jute Posted November 24 Report Posted November 24 Ipswich 1-1 with Manchester United at half time. Been a decent game so far. Quote
Jute Posted November 24 Report Posted November 24 Lazio v Bologna just started on TNT. Ferguson on the bench for Bologna. Quote

wee toon red Posted November 26 Report Posted November 26 It's never a great sign when a young player goes on loan at a level down and doesn't set the heather alight. Not necessarily the end of the road but you'd really want these boys to be shining in the championship to be reassured they've got what it takes to excel for us. Quote
BigAl Posted November 26 Report Posted November 26 Ryan Duncan as Rico says has a number of attributes to be a decent player, perhaps it's his footballing brain that is lacking and needs worked upon. Interesting to see what Jimmy and his coaching team could do with him over a period of time. Prime example being Shady Mo Quote

A lot depends on confidence and physical attributes, and I think Duncan struggles with the former. He was very good at Peterhead, but he seems to have had the strong running beaten out of him during the last few managers. As @BigAl says, it'd be good to see what Thelin could do with him. Quote

They added 10 minutes at the end of second half which I assume was mainly the result of VAR check. ETA I only saw last bit of game as had been over the road watching Scotland’s Women’s team play out boring 0-0 draw with Finland. Quote
Slim Posted Saturday at 16:31 Report Posted Saturday at 16:31 Las Palmas pick up 3 points with a 2-1 win against Barcelona at the Nou Camp with Scott McKenna playing the whole match. Always surprises me that he’s not Scotland’s first choice left-sided central defender when fit. 1 Quote
