Playing left back and got forward quite well. Probably better than McGarry. Probably still not good enough of course. Quote

OrlandoDon Posted December 21, 2024 Report Posted December 21, 2024 I remember being impressed with mason hancock and was surprised we let him leave. Still at airdrie?? Quote

manc_don Posted December 26, 2024 Report Posted December 26, 2024 I know jute thinks otherwise, but I’m pleased with that result. Fuck the huns. Quote
RicoS321 Posted December 26, 2024 Report Posted December 26, 2024 United must be favourites for second now. Quote
Reekie_Red Posted December 27, 2024 Report Posted December 27, 2024 Shows how shit the league is. 7 games ago we were talking of potential Chapions League and Hibs were talking relegation. Now we are canon fodder and Hibs are talking Top 6. Of course, Hearts still say 2nd is mathematically possible 1 Quote
tom_widdows Posted December 31, 2024 Report Posted December 31, 2024 (edited) Took in todays Morton V Partick match finally ticking Cappielow off the list. Seems the wannabe casual movement among teenagers is gaining momentum with the bizarre spectacle of an attempted battle in the Cowshed between the respective young teams. No cops inside the ground and the stewards being volunteers meant it escalated to the 'fuck we didnt think we'd actually get close enough to fight.....can someone please come and tell us off now?' All calmed down when I presume Morton made a phone call and 2-3 local mums turned up in hi vizes and stood in the gap staring angrily at them On the pitch not having VAR made such a difference making the match actually entertaining despite a fairly strong wind and intermittent monsoon rain. Partick woke up after Morton scored equalising and then looking the more likely only to give up with 5mins to go and then concede in injury time. Post game the young teams tried to start things again but as before werent serious and were easily stopped by 3 cops ie they ran past them onto the bridge but then stopped to wait for one of said coppers to walk up the steps and tell them to stop being wee fannies. And apparently as with SEVCO and tic fans, Thistle's mob also think I look like an undercover cop VID-20241231-WA0010.mp4 Edited December 31, 2024 by tom_widdows Quote
tom_widdows Posted December 31, 2024 Report Posted December 31, 2024 PS for some reason there was a guy with a seriously Pro level TV camera moving about the away end filming the thistle 'ultras' from various positions. Perhaps Danny Dyer is bringing out a new documentry? Quote
BigAl Posted January 2 Report Posted January 2 Expect every Hun you know to tell you they're wife, sorry world beaters again Watching Dundee derby, entertainment value is way above what our game was Quote
manc_don Posted January 2 Report Posted January 2 Sakes. Arabs 2-1 up. What a shite start to the year. Quote
BigAl Posted January 4 Report Posted January 4 Pretty shit start in Kirkcaldy for Barry Robson Three down inside twenty five minutes, suspect he will have been relieved to get to the final whistle with no further damage inflicted. Quote
manc_don Posted January 9 Report Posted January 9 Sounds like VAR are doing their level best to keep the huns in their game vs Dundee. Quote
tom_widdows Posted January 9 Report Posted January 9 Do wonder if a much larger crowd would have turned up at Bramall Lane tonight had the game been played tomorrow, saturday or sunday. 6126 out of a possible 31000 (£15 for adults) with the commentators suggesting it may be because it will be -6C at 2am. Nothing to do with a 7pm kick off on a Thursday and the game being on council tv then Quote

Nothing to do with a 7pm kick off on a Thursday and the game being on council tv then Been to few games at Brammall Lane and always been well attended so surprised that gate that low. Think you are right that TV is probably to blame but think it’s also FA cup has been devalued down south and fans are no longer interested in it even in lower leagues. Quote
Elgindon Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 (edited) Took in the Elgin game at Forfar today, before their game v some plucky minnows next week. What a great wee stadium at Station park.Old style, well maintained terraces with crush barriers.Pretty even first, with little goalmouth action.Much better in the second,a draw a fair result, but results eslewhere not going Citys way Fan frenzy after Citys goal Edited January 11 by Elgindon 3 Quote
Jute Posted January 15 Report Posted January 15 Watching English football highlights just now and Isak was on fire again tonight 2 goals and an assist. That’s 17 goals for the season. Think we might have missed the boat on him. Quote
