Jute Posted March 26 Report Posted March 26 Fantastic first half ending with the standard half time fight between the teams. Quote
Jute Posted March 26 Report Posted March 26 Finished 4-1 to Argentina. They were well ahead of Brazil even without Messi. Brazil looked a very ordinary side. Quote

Greater Alba. We'd play Shetland and Orkney, Inner Hebrides, St Kilda and Rockall, Faroe Islands, Greenland Still not confident we would win that group. Stonehaven Juniors can be a handful when they aren't nursing hangovers Quote
BigAl Posted March 29 Report Posted March 29 Can't believe the Hun bastards got out of jail at Dens Park earlier. Was hoping for a Dundee win, not only because I hate the Hun cunts but a Dundee win would have put Killie in the play off position Quote
Jute Posted March 29 Report Posted March 29 Just watched highlights of that. Neither team seemed capable of defending. Could easily have finished 5-5. Quote

Would you like Barry Ferguson to be sent to the stands too? In the style of Mark McGhee? What about Hertz losing the previous day, consigning them to the bottom six? Quote
Jute Posted April 1 Report Posted April 1 In Germany Arminia Bielefeld from 3rd division beat Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 to put them out of German Cup and make final. Quote
Jute Posted April 5 Report Posted April 5 Just found out that Sky show Bundesliga 2 games on YouTube free. Currently watching Koln v Hertha Berlin. Been decent so far. Loved Koln stadium when was there for Euros. 46,000 there tonight brilliant atmosphere. Quote
tlg1903 Posted April 6 Report Posted April 6 Our draw there a few weeks ago doesn't look so bad now. Kudos to Valekari it has to be said, he's been a good addition to the league. Quote

Overall I think he's done pretty well, he's certainly kept them in the hunt to stay in the league and that is a clear improvement on what they were when he arrived. I certainly wouldn't write them off just yet despite the 5 point gap though of course they are still favourites to go down. 1 Quote
Jute Posted April 7 Report Posted April 7 They were a bit unlucky this weekend with the results that they have not closed the gap on Dundee and Kilmarnock. However nothing will make the eye bleeding shite of our game against them look better. That game almost put me off football for life. 1 Quote

That last sentence could be applied to 95% of games we play against St J Edited April 8 by tlg1903 1 Quote

wokinginashearerwonderland Posted April 9 Report Posted April 9 Some result from Arsenal last night. Cannot make up my mind if Arteta is extremely lucky or a tactical genius as it was the first time in a while that I have seen Arsenal play. So many players to me looked like they were playing in the wrong position. The left back must have spent more than half the game in the centre of midfield, the wingers were each on their wrong foot, Odegaard was basically playing on the right touchline for half the game, Rice playing a left sided position and the guy playing up front was a midfielder. Bizarre tactics yet incredible outcome. Quote

Jute Posted April 9 Report Posted April 9 Rice’s two free kicks were excellent. Both sides were all over the shop tactically. Neither side looked capable of defending at all. Quote
