Jute Posted April 8, 2012 Report Posted April 8, 2012 Madrid draw 0-0 with Valencia tonight taking gap down to 4 over Barcelona. Quote
Jute Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 Another soft penalty for the big team in tonight's Fulham v Chelsea game. Looks like refs down there just as scared of giving decisions against teams at the top of the league as ours are. Quote
Kowalski Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 I reckon the ref has just bottled it in the Liverpool game, he should have sent their second keeper off for a professional foul. Quote

tom_widdows Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 Looks to me like RossCo are effectively chumpionees in div 1 now? 15 pt lead, 5 games to go 13 goals to the good. Betcha we get ICT and them away in Dec/Jan Confirmed tonight. Late Queen of the South equaliser means County are champions without kicking a ball Quote
Madbadteacher Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 Woooooooooooooop! Go staggies! All we need now is Wick in the SPL and I'll be a happy camper! I now can claim several formal pupils of mine are SPL players! Quote
BigAl Posted April 11, 2012 Report Posted April 11, 2012 Congratulations to Ross County A welcome addition to the SPL Quote

glasgow sheep Posted April 11, 2012 Report Posted April 11, 2012 SPLstats Ross County are promoted with 5 games to spare. Last team promoted that early were Hibs in 1998/99. Quote
Tyrant Posted April 11, 2012 Report Posted April 11, 2012 I reckon the ref has just bottled it in the Liverpool game, he should have sent their second keeper off for a professional foul. I was watching it without sound at first I thought he was going to give an indirect free kick inside the box for the handball. The ref obviously thought that the defender would get there first and "The Yak" was heading away from goal? Or he just bottled it. WTF the fuck the boy Jones was doing there I'll never know. Palming it down in front of him so he then had to push him? What keeper doesn't punch that or just catch it? It's a fucking free kick anyway. He saved a penalty with his first touch aye but I don't think he had a great game overall. I've watched Liverpool play ten times better than that this season and still lose/draw. See both games against Wigan for example. Last night they were fairly poor but for once managed to get all three points. Shelvy, Spearing and Daglish are not good enough. Quote
glasgowdon Posted April 11, 2012 Report Posted April 11, 2012 Real Madrid simply do not lose those derbies. Quote

maverick sheep Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 Chelsea fans booed during the Hilsborough silence and then called for Paolo Di Canio to be the next manager...vermin Quote
manc_don Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 Can't believe that the referee gave Chelsea their second goal. Never in a million years did that ball cross the line. Quote
Tyrant Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 Can't believe that the referee gave Chelsea their second goal. Never in a million years did that ball cross the line. I only caught the last 15 mins of the game but saw the incident. Clearly never crossed the line. Although you could clearly see visible on the face of Frank Lampard the desire to say "What about my goal for England against Germany?" Was the minute's silence for Hillsborough victims only? I thought it was for thon Italian loon that died as well? Quote

Jute Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 Wigan pick up first points ever at Arsenal with 2-1 win. Van Persie obviously been to the Neil Lennon school for graceful losers. Wigan now 5 points above relegation zone. Quote
