Didn't watch the game as I had to work but saw MOTD the Day 2. There was very little between the teams. Had Van Persie put away that chance he had at the end and the match had finished 1-1 no one could really have complained. Although he spent most of the game trying to start fights with everyone. Solid enough defensive display from Liverpool. I'm pleased for big Martin. Don't think one dodgy showing warranted being dropped for that long.

Shelvey is having an absolute mare, after starting reasonably well and getting an early goal.  Great anticipation from Sturridge for the equalising goal.

I've noticed, as well, Shelvey isn't tackling much if at all. I'm sure he could have got a challenge in on Moses before the second, but he seemed to run away from him.

Holy shite, never rated Shelvey and was surprised when Laudrup signed him, fairly sure the lad is special needs after seeing his interview.
