rocket_scientist Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Let's all laugh at rangers. A fair few Mary doll's going to have a sair face for New Year. That made me larf and unfortunately it's very true. It's not just domestic violence that goes up when the bigots meet. We lived in Glasgow when newly married and my wife has been with the NHS since before I met her over 30 years ago. At Glasgow Victoria A & E, if there were x stabbings in Glasgow on a Saturday night, there were x + 50 on an OF Saturday. Quote
manc_don Posted January 1, 2017 Report Posted January 1, 2017 Nice goal from giroud today against palace, not sure I'd agree with the claim that it's better than Mkhitaryan's goal. Giroud is not reliably good, whereas Mkhitaryan clearly is. Doubt he'd be able to ever do it again. Quote

Was expecting a Rene Higuita effort and end up with a yoga pose gone wrong. Quote

BobbyBiscuit Posted January 3, 2017 Report Posted January 3, 2017 Ryan Fraser puts Bournemouth 3-0 up against Arsenal. Quote
BigAl Posted January 3, 2017 Report Posted January 3, 2017 Ryan Fraser puts Bournemouth 3-0 up against Arsenal. Seems to be doing ok this season Bit of a shock scoreline that one Quote
Jute Posted January 4, 2017 Report Posted January 4, 2017 Spurs 1-0 up on Chelsea at half time. Quote
manc_don Posted January 5, 2017 Report Posted January 5, 2017 Both decent headers as well. Keeps the title race a little bit interesting. Quote
Tyrant Posted January 5, 2017 Report Posted January 5, 2017 A little bit? Come on, manc even your beloved aren't quite out of the race yet IMO my opinion! Quote

Jute Posted January 6, 2017 Report Posted January 6, 2017 West Ham pumped by Manchester City 5-0. Shadow of the team from last season. Quote
tom_widdows Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 I see yon cardiff vs Fulham cup tie had an 1130am kick off Attendance was 5,199 (Stadium capacity 33,300). I remember sky having Man U games with 1115 KO back in the 90s but they got kicked into touch fairly soon. TV fucks over the fans again Quote
manc_don Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 Don't think that that's a case of TV fucking the fans over in this time round. Think it's quite a regular occurrence for their fa cup games (Cardiff)? A lot animosity towards the owners is there not? Quote
manc_don Posted January 11, 2017 Report Posted January 11, 2017 Saints one up at the bin dippers. What's with the applause, was the Southampton fan terminally ill or something? Quote
manc_don Posted January 11, 2017 Report Posted January 11, 2017 Entertaining game, how Southampton didn't score more is beyond me. Really should have ended 3 or 4-0. I'd imagine the scourers will turn it around at home. Quote
Jute Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 African Nations started to day with hosts Gabon drawing 1-1 with first timers Guinea Bissau and Cameroon drawing 1-1 with Burkina Faso also drawing 1-1. Both decent games to watch as all attacked from the off. Probably because none of them could defend but entertaining. Quote

I know bc used to show it on the red button. I remember watching a Burkina Faso game probably about 16 or so years ago, first ever game I remember seeing 8 minutes of added time. Even then 4 minutes were rare. Think there were 5 sending offs Quote

manc_don Posted January 15, 2017 Report Posted January 15, 2017 Games are being show on Eurosport. Last nights games were both on Eurosport2. One of the sports channels I don't have, typical! I saw the medical buggy ran into an injured player during one of the games Quote
manc_don Posted January 15, 2017 Report Posted January 15, 2017 Citeh get pumped 4-0 at Everton! I've not seen much of them but is bravo really any better than Hart? Seems like they concede a lot more these days. Quote
