tlg1903 Posted May 25, 2017 Report Posted May 25, 2017 Really hope Utd do it, one less plastic pitch in the league would be very welcome. No sympathy for Murray either he was falling over in the last leg too. Quote
manc_don Posted May 28, 2017 Report Posted May 28, 2017 Well, Arabs have failed. Hamilton win 1-0 Quote
tom_widdows Posted May 28, 2017 Report Posted May 28, 2017 They really bottled it. Seem to recall rumours of some serious financial issues if they had to spend another season in the 1st Quote

Madbadteacher Posted May 29, 2017 Report Posted May 29, 2017 Huddersfield win an awful game, on penalties, to make it to the "bestleagueintheworld". Great penalty save from some guy called Ward Quote
tom_widdows Posted May 29, 2017 Report Posted May 29, 2017 Good to see the Chinese conglomerate who own reading getting shafted. Quote
tom_widdows Posted June 4, 2017 Report Posted June 4, 2017 Junior Cup Final currently on BBC Alba Auchinlek Talbot 1-1 Glenafton Athletic (Darkest Ayrshire Derby) Baffles me that a Gaelic TV Channel covers the final of a cup competition in which by my reckoning features only 3 teams from history Gaelic Speaking Areas of the Country. But then again the Gaelic language has always baffled me since the day I discovered it was a compulsory subject for the first 2 years of High School (Kids at my old school now apparently get a choice) Quote
manc_don Posted June 5, 2017 Report Posted June 5, 2017 Cheick Tiote, collapsed during training in China and has since passed away Quote
tom_widdows Posted June 9, 2017 Report Posted June 9, 2017 Andorra just beat Hungary to claim only their 3rd ever victory in a competitive match Quote

Jute Posted June 25, 2017 Report Posted June 25, 2017 Finished 1-1 between Chile and Australia. Germany won 3-1 against Cameroon. Semi finals are Portugal v Chile and Germany v Mexico. Quote

tom_widdows Posted June 27, 2017 Report Posted June 27, 2017 Champions league started tonight TNS (Wales) 1-2 Europa (Gibraltar). Also in other news England U21 carried on the rich Traditional of losing in Semi-Finals to the Germans Quote
BigAl Posted June 28, 2017 Report Posted June 28, 2017 And there we go..... Bruno Alves leading with his elbow in Confederation Cup match against Chile. Sort of thing he will get away with all season long wearing a Hun shirt Quote

Sort of thing he will get away with all season long wearing a Hun shirt I'm pretty certain I've seen Considine do that plenty of times. A nothing challenge really, where the commentator suggested a red before watching the replay and didn't really back down when it was obviously a yellow at most. Actually thought the ageing hun looked pretty decent unfortunately. Quote
