maverick sheep Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 At least it makes a welcome change from all the trash talk that's been goin on recently. Quote
manc_don Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 Just on the bus home from the fulham game tonight. Cracking game, great atmosphere, no doubt helped by the burnley fans who were magnificent. Good banter with them and and the second half they didn't stop singing the whole time. Amazing stuff. Well worth my 6 quid Quote
Reekie_Red Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Six quid?! Why the fuck can't the SPL teams have these prices now and then, instead of eightysix quid for a child for a match against St Moron Quote

manc_don Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Really? I wasn't lying! I've not seen a British support like them. Fulham were great to watch, and some of Burnley's play was good, just lacked the finishing touch. Reekie, it was a deal on offer for Season ticket holders I think, £5 + booking fee, I'm not sure how many went on general sale. Still though, It was pretty busy considering it was a game against an unfashionable team. Also, a crazy amount of hot American women in the home support ?!? Quote
El Padre™ Posted February 13, 2010 Report Posted February 13, 2010 I see Bebo scored again for Killie today! Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Watching the huns v hivs and it's 1-0 to the huns. Whittaker with a good goal. "The Gowser" has been utter toilet for hibs. Almost as bad as Beasley for the huns. Quote
manc_don Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 I see it finished 3-0 to der hun. I thought hibs usually played quite well at snake mountain? Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 They were quite good in the first half, woeful in the second. Palace one up on Villa in the FA Cup. Quote
glasgow sheep Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 I see it finished 3-0 to der hun. I thought hibs usually played quite well at snake mountain? Of course it could have been different if Boyd had been sent off for what the BBC referred to as a "cheeky elbow" into Zemmama's face. The hun cunt typically was outraged at even getting a yellow card. Apparently the booking may mean he misses the OF game. I was under the impression he usually "misses" them most the time anyway Quote
manc_don Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 How can you have a cheeky wee elbow!? Typical hun bastard's! After a good first half, the palace - villa game has been quite dull. Palace seem to have their own ultras! Quote

manc_don Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Ha ha rocket, i thought that as soon as the goal went in. Superb strike, palace hit the bar after that as well. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Can't say I ever fancied Villa to win as comfortably as the bookies were suggesting. Got a big problem scoring goals and it was also around this time last year their season went to fuck. Both them and Spurs have become utterly unconvincing in the last few weeks and I'll be avoiding both at the bookies for the forseeable. Quote
manc_don Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 2-2 now. Petrov with a front post header. Since the 2nd palace goal, the game has improved greatly. A good cup tie. Agree with you bobby, but i'd say spurs more than villa. Apparently kevin davis' goal for bolton was a cracker. Quote

Backed Villa at 8/5 to win away to Sunderland which they did but haven't touched them since. Terrible value these two. Quote
Guest leith_red Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Warnock doing his nut in an interveiw just now. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Warnock doing his nut in an interveiw just now. Just the norm for him. also doesn't like being called Colin. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Atletico Madrid v Barcelona on Sky just now, should be a cracker. Atletico one up after 9 mins through Forlan. Quote
Guest rocket debris Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Reyes >> Forlan. One of the best goals of the weekend. Stunning. Quote
Guest rocket debris Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Bad omen for the unbeaten Barca? Should have been 2 down but in this first half of the first half, Messi's made more mistakes than he has all season and Ibrahimovic looks like a striker who hasn't scored for two months. EDIT: It is 2 now. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 2-0, peach of a free kick from Simao. Could have had another too if Aguero hadn't bottled it. Quote

EDIT: It is 2 now. Losing Keita so early hasn't helped them, especially when they can't replace him with a similar player. Have to say I've never been a big fan of Puyol, a good defender no doubt but rather over rated, dives in a lot and seems to win fans by defending from the Jamie Carragher book of defending. I'd take Gabby Milito ahead of him. 2-1 Ibrahimovic. Quote
