Madbadteacher Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 Watched the Geldof/Goldsmith thing on iPlayer. Quite enjoyed it. Brought back memories of watching LiveAid! Quote
mizer Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 Just watched never mind the buzzcocks with Frankie Boyle, good to see him back on fire with some cracking jokes. Quote
minijc Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 The ones he wasn't allowed to do were much better, he read the script out on his tour of what he planned to say. Quote

minijc Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 Can't really remember them all but the joke he done for the song "3 is the magic number" was different, he wanted to say "ofcourse 3 is the magic number, anything older and they can tell on you" or something like that, it was ages ago since I went to see him. The fingering joke he used instead was still excellent as Michelle Williams reaction was hilarious. Quote
minijc Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 Aye, she done well considering, she is a patron for an Aids charity, Frankie had loads of aids jokes and also she doesn't like when the other two from the band get more mentions than her, his intro for her was great. Quote
maverick sheep Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 finally saw screenwipe 2010. Was shit. Big fan of Brooker but that show doesn't work anymore. Probably because TV is so much worse with each new year. The news has been satirized to death long before the end of the year and all else there is on telly that lots of people watch are the awful reality tv shows. Brooker sending those up does nothing for me as I already know they're shit and don't need someone smuggling them into my life when I've just about managed to avoid them all year. Quote

I thought it was alright tbh be honest. Not his best (by far) but a rather enjoyable hour of TV I thought. Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 Famous and Fearless, total shite. Watched about 30 odd minutes of the first one, nothing happened. Absolute cunt bucket of a show. Quote

Harcus Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 Not going out, on bbc1, love this show. Jesus, you must be fishing. It's got to rival Miranda as the most god awful piece of 'comedy' on television. Really fucking bad. Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 I hate Derren Brown. This. Quote

manc_don Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 The Ashes. I've been watching TV to ridiculous times but it's done now. Some truly great stuff. I was annoyed the ashes highlights were only on at 10PM. Some cracking cricket played over the series and fully deserved. Is Ponting still captain, or are they just going to usher him to the sides? Nothing like seeing the convicts losing on their own doorstep Quote
bilbobaggins Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 Just leave. Nae a fan I take it. Quote
Torryloon Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 Watched the first part of the Sinking of the LAconia last night. Really interesting. Second part on tonight at 9 pm on BBC2.
