The first two episodes of The Bridge were excellent.

Third and fourth episodes didn't grab me the same way on Saturday night

Just finished watching The Following with Kevin Bacon as lead.  Good series although it fizzled out a bit towards the last couple episodes and got a little predictable.

Worth a watch though.

I'm glad that Kevin Bacon has proved that he's not a flash in the pan actor.

He seems a bit streaky? Good roles, bad roles, maybe a bit footloose in what he choses?

True Detective.  Good performances but I'm finding it a tad slow?!

Kids & Guns on Channel 4

So far a 4 year old girl has recieved a 44 magnum 'youth' rifle for her birthday

And next up was a family with their own private Arsenal and shooting range including a Gatlin gun. They apparently take safety seriously though

but somehow this 'child Geniuses' programme makes the gun nuts look normal and nice

The paedophile hunter. Really dark, and thought provoking. Have to say, they show the police how easy it really is.

Elementary

I must confess, I have always had a bit of a thing about Lucy Lui.  Combined with a real love of Sherlock Holmes I decided to give this series a try despite some questionable aspects.  It took a couple of episodes to find it's feet but when it did it went to marathon running really quickly.  Johnny Lee Miller has been given really good material to work with and, combined with more opportunity (22 episode per series as opposed to only 9 episodes), as such, has created a Sherlock Holmes with significantly more depth than Cumberpatch's effort in BBC's Sherlock (also a show I have a lot of love for I might add).  Any fan of Sherlock should give Elementary a watch.

DO NOT READ MBT's RESPONSE IF YOU WANT TO WATCH THIS

Have been watching The Jinx online, absolutely fantastic documentary about a rich man suspected of committing a number of murders over  period of 30 years.  It's a 6 part documentary, and I am on 5/6 now.  Thoroughly recommend it, excellent sound track too.

You are aware that, as a result of the programme, someone came forward with more evidence and he's now been arrested and charged?
