bd74w Posted February 21, 2009 Report Posted February 21, 2009 Listened to the full match on red tv today as i refuse to pay good money to watch barron mackie, what did strike me was that his name was barely mentioned once during the whole ninety minutes and people on here continue to support him.Our other strikers lee miller and chris mcguire did however contribute to the match with good hold up play and creating chances but not mackie The guy is totally useless and i personally will never have a good word for him. I see richard(cant pass) foster was completely left out the squad and calderwood is onto him i think which can only be a good thing for the team so one down and one to go. Quote
bd74w Posted February 21, 2009 Author Report Posted February 21, 2009 The guys from red tv even commented to the fact he was useless,as for foster he was dropped Quote
Mackie's ace! Posted February 21, 2009 Report Posted February 21, 2009 Diamond and Mulgrew were far worse. Quote
mizer Posted February 21, 2009 Report Posted February 21, 2009 Listened to the full match on red tv today as i refuse to pay good money to watch barron mackie You watch with your ears? Quote
BrownyBrown Posted February 21, 2009 Report Posted February 21, 2009 From the very same guy who wished injury upon our own players. Yeah you are probably right, mackie will probably be at pittodrie for the rest of his miserable career but the sensible fan wont pay money week in week out to watch a sub standard player With a bit of luck he will get a bad injury and blunderwood will be forced to bring in someone who actually has an ounce of talent Quote
Kowalski Posted February 21, 2009 Report Posted February 21, 2009 Listened to the full match on red tv today Some of us were at the game He was nowhere near being the worst player on the pitch. Another pointless scapegoat thread. Quote
caledonia Posted February 21, 2009 Report Posted February 21, 2009 I also heard he got crunched when we just about scored. Dont see why, he would have missed anyway And i agree he is a waste of space.. Quote
mizer Posted February 21, 2009 Report Posted February 21, 2009 Dont see why, he would have missed anyway And i agree he is a waste of space.. Has been voted man of the match 5 times so far this season by the users of this board. Quote

Huck the Funs Posted February 22, 2009 Report Posted February 22, 2009 Listened to the full match on red tv today as i refuse to pay good money to watch barron mackie, what is bad money? anyway i pay to watch aberdeen, there have been numerous rank players within the 35 years i've been watching them, but none so bad that they put me off watching the team, 11 bad players then you may have had a point. before i forget, if you weren't at the game i'm not interested in your opinion Quote
Harcus Posted February 22, 2009 Report Posted February 22, 2009 says it all then aye, it says it all that two posters with the combined intelligence of a postbox are both fairly vehement in their hatred of Mackie. Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted February 22, 2009 Report Posted February 22, 2009 Fucking wanksticks, says it all. If you want a waste of space, look no further than Charlieboy. How anyone could have watched that game and picked out Mackie I have no idea. Quote
Kowalski Posted February 22, 2009 Report Posted February 22, 2009 It was Mackie challenging for the cross that directly led to our 1st goal. Quote
Superstar Tradesman Posted February 22, 2009 Report Posted February 22, 2009 Well I wasn't at the game either so I guess some won't be 'interested in my opinion' either but here it goes anyway: "Our other strikers lee miller and chris mcguire did however contribute to the match" by scoring fuck all goals so they're ranking side-by-side with Mackie in my thoughts this afternoon. I don't know why someone from the club hasn't contacted you to offer you a scouting role. Think of the numbers of players you could scout in a week by listening to the radio. Quote

He's been about for years too. Quote
willie_millers-barmyarmy Posted February 22, 2009 Report Posted February 22, 2009 In a 2-2 draw i wouldnt say its our attacking players that should be getting stick!! nonsense thread! Quote
Kowalski Posted February 22, 2009 Report Posted February 22, 2009 In a 2-2 draw i wouldnt say its our attacking players that should be getting stick!! nonsense thread! Absolutely. It was defensive mistakes that cost us the win. Quote

Our two other strikers were playing in the two striking positions. Mackie was playing on the right wing. If JC had gone with 3 up front then he would have been lambasted for not playing 4-4-2 and if Maguire had played on the right, he would be defended for playing poorly because it's not his natural position. Well that sums up how worthless your opinion really is and how little you contribute to a reasoned debate. Quote
caledonia Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 The bandwagoners on here can back mackie all they want but in my opinion he is our weak link And for the most this season has been our worst performer.. Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 I guess its just bandwagoning to say you are an idiot but I'll do it anyway. You are an idiot. Quote
