BobbyBiscuit Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 If I was to drive from Aberdeen - what time would I need to leave at - hoping to avoid the worst of the aberdeen/dundee/glasgow rush hours? If you left bang on 4, you'd probably just beat the Dundee rush hour traffic and would miss the worst of the Glasgow rush hour too. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 4pm is mental leaving Aberdeen though. It took me over 30 mins to get from Pittodrie to Bridge of Dee last week. AAAaaaahhhh fuck it Crikey. The other thing is though you don't want to be in Paisley too early, do you? That could be a horrible state of affairs. Quote
dave_min Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 Crikey. The other thing is though you don't want to be in Paisley too early, do you? That could be a horrible state of affairs. If you're early just head down to the Airport for a quick protest with some other North-East types Quote
mizer Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 Remember and do your predictors folks http://www.thedandies.co.uk/messageboard/index.php?board=3.0 Just sitting here watching the clock, was going to leave at 3.30 but I'm tempted just to go now. Quote
dave_min Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 I'm sad, this is the first league game i've missed all year Quote
mizer Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 I'm sad, this is the first league game i've missed all year Part-timer Quote
dave_min Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 Part-timer I know, i've been scared to go back after what happened at my last away game Quote
BrownyBrown Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 A thouroughly entertaining 0-0 draw so far according to BBC Scotland. Shite, Miller off. Quote
kelt Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 And he's put the ball from only 8 yards. It was easier to score. He could have just side-footed it into the net. 3 year contract for that man, plz. Quote
kelt Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLL!!!! GOALGOALGOALGOALGOAL!!!!!! Quote
Kowalski Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 A Diamond cock up again by the sounds of things. Quote
BrownyBrown Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 FFS. "Sloppy, individual mistakes, all credit to them, fair play to the big guy...." And repeat. Not good enough. Quote
BrownyBrown Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 Still can't help but be completely deflated by that scoreline. Draws to Killie and St Mirren in a series of matches which sees us play a team we haven't beaten in the SPL yet isn't even top 6 form, never mind form to chase for Europe. 2 pts lost to Dundee Utd. Quote
tlg1903 Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 This was always going to be a really tough game after they took a shoeing at the tattiebowl. Quote
Mackie's ace! Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 JMG. 2140: We have a couple of texts to 80295 for you to enjoy. If anything sums up the fickle nature of football and the precarious character of the job of football manger it is these: "Time up, Jimmy- you have flattered to deceive again," says Tommy Kingswells, who sent this a few minutes before Wright's injury-time goal. St Mirren were out to prove a point after Saturday's result. We sounded like we were unlucky with hitting the post, but St Mirren have also had good results at the new ground. Worse things have happened at sea. We'll win on Saturday and it'll still be JMG no doubt. Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 Pretty much how I saw it FJ, but these total giveaway goals are slowly but surely strangling our season. Quote
mizer Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 With three clowns at the back (Mulgrew, Mair and Vidal) I'm glad we came away only losing one goal loved Wrights goal, but within seconds it sunk in that it was just a draw against a shite team. Quote
KGB Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 We were by far the better team in the second half but you had the feeling that they would get a chance and score and so it transpired. Great goal from Wright to silence those loathsome Paisley wankers but ultimately it was a game we needed to and should have won. Quote
Jute Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 Very lucky tonight. We really do have some absolute dross playing for us now. 1 win in 8 is simply not good enough. Quote
Aberdeen_Ladette Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Very lucky tonight. We really do have some absolute dross playing for us now. 1 win in 8 is simply not good enough. Ouch!. Should have, but didn't, realise the one win in eight statistic. I so, so hope I'm wrong, as trying to convince niece and nephew to be Aberdeen fans, but I have such a bad feeling about Saturday.
