scunnered999 Posted April 23, 2012 Report Posted April 23, 2012 Cannae afford Sky (not that I would give that prick Murdoch any of my money anyway), so it's the Beeb for me. Quote
Kowalski Posted September 18, 2012 Report Posted September 18, 2012 Jake Humphrey to leave the BBC: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/19635534 Sad news as he's good at presenting F1. Wonder who they'll get in instead? Or will they just bin it all together and leave it all to Sky? Quote

manc_don Posted September 18, 2012 Author Report Posted September 18, 2012 That really is a shame, he's a proper professional and was a very good presenter for the F1 and Superbowl. Huge loss for BBC imo. Quote
manc_don Posted November 25, 2012 Author Report Posted November 25, 2012 Loved make Humphreys moment of going to the Ferrari garage and saying it didn't matter because he was leaving anyway Not sure who I hope wins, dont particularly like either of the drivers but it has been a great season. Quote
Kowalski Posted November 25, 2012 Report Posted November 25, 2012 Decent race. Humphreys will be missed as he disappears into the abyss of BT Vision. Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted November 25, 2012 Report Posted November 25, 2012 Decent race. Humphreys will be missed as he disappears into the abyss of BT Vision. He will, really enjoyed the race. Button was immaculate. Quote
manc_don Posted November 25, 2012 Author Report Posted November 25, 2012 Was a great race today, definitely preferred Alonso than Vettel as I thought he's driven better over the course of the season but noone can deny vettel his victory. Its just a shame Humphreys is leaving , hopefully he won't live to regret it. Quote
Kowalski Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/20531638 It looks to me like Vettel overtakes before the green flag/light, so I think he was still in a yellow flag zone. Quote
manc_don Posted November 29, 2012 Author Report Posted November 29, 2012 Yeah i heard about this on the weekend but was surprised nothing more was made of it. Would mean Alonso wins by a point. Quote
Tyrant Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 This is mental. So was he meant to wait until after he passed the green light? How can he not know that as a pro driver? Or did he think he'd get away with it? Quote

CtS Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 So even if you're stuck behind a really slow back-marker you still have to wait until you're in a certain section of the track before you can overtake? Sounds shite, I'll continue to not watch it. Quote

Kowalski Posted March 25, 2013 Report Posted March 25, 2013 I'm not a huge fan of Vettel but I'm not sure I fully understand the vitriol he is getting. F1 is supposed to be a race, and he's probably as fed up of team orders as the majority of us fans are! Farcical decision by Red Bull IMHO to initiate team orders in the second race of the season FFS fuck's sake! Quote
