Jenson Button just won the Bahrain Grand Prix. Good driving, not the most fantastic of races but a good win for Button and Brawn GP nonetheless. Was it me or were there hardly any people there?!? Money aside, I don't see the point in bringing the race to countries like that.

While I'm pleased for Button (he's a top bloke as proved by his pre-race interview with Coulthard and Brundle today) its turning into a procession again.  What a boring race today.

I never really bothered much with F1, especially when it was on ITV, fucking Steve Snider and Jim Knowsitall.

The BBC coverage, Jake Humphreys, D.C., Eddie Jordan, Martin Brundle and Jonathan Legard have been excellent.

F1 is not a minority sport.

Humphreys is doing a very good job, for someone so young.  All in all the coverage is excellent, but some of the races aren't.

Watched my first F1 race in possibly about 10 years yesterday (although I was flicking back and forth between channels).

Can't really say it was a race as such, what with the world number 1 being lapped about halfway through the race and the winner being 18 seconds ahead of 2nd place after the first dozen laps.

I don't really follow F1, so how is it that Button and Brawn have emerged from nowhere to dominate the "sport"?

From my very limited knowledge it looks like the cars are very different to last time I paid any interest.  There seems to be a lot more rules about what they can and can't do.

Guessing that's got some bearing on it.  :-\

He does women football world cup, Womens FA cup, cricket world cup, African cup of nations, superbowl and F1. These are all minority sports maybe with the exception of F1.
