Mackie's ace! Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 How rubbish is it? I'm taking my nephews to the Caley game and was wondering whether to sit there... Quote
tlg1903 Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 Been years since i was in there, you get a pretty decent view to be fair. Quote
El Padre™ Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 Ach its no a bad wee stand, dont think it really matters where you sit. Are you trying to scam cheap family tickets now that you're not a student anymore? Quote

The beauty is though - I'm not a student, but I still get a student card! I paid full price for my season ticket though. Quote
mini59dons Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 It's never been the same since they replaced the benches. Used to go there as a teenager cos it was cheaper than the south stand! Quote
tom_widdows Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 Think the stand would inmprove if they stopped it bing a family section With the low roof I imagine it would be like a large version of 'the shed' for atmosphere Quote

But that would be madness wouldnt it and there would probably be people who would stop going if they couldnt have their upper tier seat. Quote

Then on to Blackfriars probably. Mods can you email everyone about this please? Quote

No football colours in Blackfriars so that rules out Jagerdeen who always wears a scarf. You've not thought this through have you? Quote
madjockmcferson Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 The Merkland would be a good singing section. You could put the kids in the DD and provide good kids entertainment on the DD forecourt or inside the stand... Quote
toasted rowie Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 good idea jock,i read somewhere in the past the red ultras had talks with the club about that but they were told it wasnt practical. Quote

It wasn't bad in the wheelchairs for the Munich game, well, other than having to sit with Padre. He is unnerving when you can't run away. Quote
