Guess who's back, back again · Shady's back (oooops, sorry better not use word shady to describe him/her in case he/she gets mock outraged).

Basically, you are typical of Yes Kingsford side. You've been coming on here with your very own brand of Yes Kingsford drivel for ages jabbing your views and cancerous opinions on this bloody stadium for ages.  I've barely finished pressing the keyboard on whatever post I do and you're in throwing about your childish, nothingness worthless insults or accusing No Kingsford side, or those who have views not cognisant with your views on Kingsford of whatever.

Its a load of words. Worthless online garbage and totally insignificant.

I don't agree with your posts, and in the real world you are not a person I would associate with in any way and if I found I sat anywhere near you at Pittodrie I would A: Change my seat or B: Request a refund on my match ticket.

You - as I have mentioned before are like a lot of the Yes Kingsford side - you are a worthless and love to manipulate words to feed your agenda about Kingsford.

But two can play at a manipulative game of words if you want?

Stop replying to my posts - can't think of any better solution to this daft bickering Yes/No arguments.  As in the online virtual world on Donstalk (Catlogo Granite man/woman) as in the real outside world.

I have no wish to associate with you whatsoever, I disagree with you, I don't like your views or your opinions - so stop replying to me.

Have a nice life.

Let's be clear here, I wasn't outraged at your comment that Deek should punch someone, I asked should it be "you?"

positive opinions aren't usually portrayed as cancerous, I'm all for it, a vision of positivity, whereas.....

Took me four hours to reply to your previous post, took you 11 minutes to come back at mine  :dunno:???

I don't manipulate anything, I simply quoted your post, and made a one word reply.

Highly entertaining as it is guys, this is in danger of boiling over.

As Manc said a few hours ago, keep it clean please.

A forum such as this openly invites opinions and there will always be differing opinions. Please lets not forget we all want the same thing here and that is a successful and winning team on the park. Not one single one of us is ever going to agree with every action taken to reach that goal. Please remember that.

All for healthy debate, but let's keep the insults and childish name calling out of it.

In response to that....taken from 'Kingswells Yes to Kingsford'.......

As we all know the NKS group came out with a statement In response to the #ALLFORAURORA

Campaign which appears to be full of lies.

1. This was not a last minute campaign by the Club. It was very well orchestrated and well-timed to galvanise the support and build momentum in the run-up to the decision. It aims to ensure the silent majority is heard. It is not the Club running scared!

2. It is the board that withdrew from the Loirston site for which they had planning permission" –Due to changes in Aberdeen City Council Policy part of the site that was allocated for stadium parking was rezoned when the decision was made to locate the New City South Academy at Loirston. This meant that there was then insufficient land available to deliver the stadium there. Kings Links is not suitable as there are issues over the land ownership and the footprint is not large enough to incorporate a sports and community campus, training facilities and stadium.

3. Kings Links, adjacent to the club’s historic home, continues to be a viable site, in the heart of the city" - Kings Links is not suitable as there are issues over the land ownership and the footprint is not large enough to incorporate a sports and community campus, training facilities and stadium.

4. Nearly 5000 people, Aberdeenshire Council and local MPs and MSPs have stated they are against the club building on this site – Almost the same if not more registered their support through the consultation process. A recent petition launched last week already has 7,700 signatures.#JustSaying!

5. AFC have failed to provide valid material considerations to justify building at Kingsford" - honestly, words fail us…. The most recent documents on the Council’s website provide all the valid considerations necessary.

I'm sitting inside the ferencvaros stadium right now.

Splashed out on an expensive seat so I'm near the half way line.

Nearly twice as expensive as behind the goal but still just £14

Free wifi obviously

Here's the teams so more later.

If we build anything like this nobody will care where it is

On my one and only visit to the fine city of Budapest i ended up staying in a hotel in the Buda side of the river. about half a mile up the hill from Szell Kalman Ter underground station. About 6 months later I found out the majority of the Hungarian porn industry output is shot within it. I thought those bedsheets were helluva crispy.

Anyway i do remember as we came in from the airport in a taxi passing right by Ferencvaros stadium and there was a game on. Looked great in the sunshine. Seemed pretty full too. Anyway enjoy  the game loon

If you could see the crowd that must have been the old stadium.

Sparse crowd tonight (stupid kick off time)

But the acoustics of this place are amazing.

200 ish behind the goal making some racket.

Mind you the Hungarians have been building things with acoustics in mind for a long time.

1-0 Fradi

The whistle blows for half time and literally 1 minute later I am drinking my pint and eating a very good cheese and ham pannini.

Paid for with my pre paid Fradi card.

Numerous pretty girls scattered about the place who top up your cards.

They seem to be the only ones accepting actual cash.

They were still serving beer after the game, folk were having a pint and a sandwich.

Breaks up the dash to beat the traffic.

Not responding in any way to any of 'his/her' posts nor have I read them. Not interested in anything he/she says.

On the Fradi stadium.

Unfortunately, the Ferencvaros Stadium has been very bad for the hardcore fans who followed the club.  The new stadium has membership scheme which involves finger printing (i.e. before you get club card they scan your thumb) and many of the hardcore fans have boycotted the stadium.

Budapest derbies are slowly dying in terms of atmosphere - apart from at Honved which is still a little old school.

For a long while Ferencvaros ultras groups (and there are hundreds of members) were following Ferencvaros II B team instead of first team but the club have clamped down on that.

The Ferencvaros stadium was the Ülloi út then the Flórián Albert Stadium.  The new stadium which is Groupama?? is on the same site (i.e. they didn't move 8 miles outside Budapest) and the pitch, as far as I know, was just re-orientated closer to metro/tube stops.

So, to put it mildly, the new Fradi stadium does a lot for family fans, is great for advertising, corporate hosting and UEFA like it.  However, the stadium has killed atmospheres due to harsh regulations used to exclude fan groups and apart from when it's used for the games of the national team its not been a good move for the hardcore.

Yes, the hardcore politics of Fradi hardcore fan groups could change and new relationships are built and derby matches become like old but essentially the disappearance of old school stadia in Budapest (MTK have also developed its ground) has crushed a lot of the past atmosphere.

Note also - most Hungarian clubs build and redeveloped the ORIGINAL grounds - I.E. did not move away 8 miles.  One club Puskás Akadémia built a futuristic training academy/come stadium in middle nowhere (and that is tainted by political corruption) but most clubs have redeveloped old stadia and the jury is out (amongst fans) as to whether the news structures do anything for anyone apart from money men who run clubs.

ID registration schemes and ticket schemes in Budapest continue to create various problems as regards boycotts for all supporters in Hungary. It changes from game to game, season to season and the national team games can be good at Fradi stadium.  However, the new stadium is not fan friendly. That is about it.

The new stadium is extremely fan friendly.

The only thing that I would object to is the palm print system of entry.

I don't like biometrics, it's probably my age though I can see the youngsters accepting it without a thought.

The registration system is a pain in the arse, I was a member before but as the whole system had changed

I had to register again yesterday. Took all of 5 minutes.

This time my photo is not on the card and as previously mentioned it is a top up card which is used to buy food and drink at the ground.

I bought a ticket yesterday but didn't use it, I got in with my membership card and the palm scan.

Fradi had a major problem with facsist anti jewish fans.

If it's them they have got rid of then it's not that bad an outcome.

The crowd was low yesterday but the atmosphere was good.

If Aberdeen were to build something VERY similar to this it would be a big success.

I'd give the palm print thing a miss though.

If it upsets Aberdeen's facist element then so be it.

They can both go elsewhere.

Biometrics, be that a fingerprint a palm print or an iris scan, does mean that the swipe card/season ticket isn't transferable.

I've nothing to hide, my fingerprints are readily available from several different countries where I go through e-gates with ease rather than standing in lines of people at immigration.

I know I'm not going to do anything where leaving my fingerprints is going to pose an issue and to be honest, if I did something stupid like kill a hooker in a drink and drug fueled orgy then I probably deserve to get caught.

Stuff like that really should speed up admission into stadiums, ease the queues at kiosks etc.

I remember a chain of places in Amsterdam, can't remember the name but they basically had a vending machine style shop front, freshly cooked stuff going in and then punters just popping their cash into the slot and taking their food. Much better than some spotty twat who can only remember one pie at a time.

Take the physical handing over of cash out of the equation and things move so much quicker.

There are all sorts of fans in Hungarian football who have been marginalised out of ground due to the new stadium - it's more complex than that.  Corruption plays a huge role in the redevelopment of its new stadiums - it's hugely corrupt and political off the pitch (in Hungary) and more murky and politically motivated than the groups being excluded who are simply hardcore fans.

I myself have a Fradi card.

Attendances were very poor anyway beforehand.

Anyway, at Fradi - it's simply the old stadium redeveloped - there is no parallel with Aberdeen.  Same with Vasas, same with MTK, same with Nep stadium, same with Ujpesti - they all redeveloped or are redeveloping the old fashioned stadiums into a new stadium and given the creation a corporate, business title.

As far I am aware many disagreed with Ferencvaros redevelopment since the stadium was the Florian Albert Stadium and he is the best player Ferencvaros have had - a statue of him used to be inside the stadium and they removed it and put it outside the stadium after it become new place.  So naturally it hit a raw nerve with people.

I know one person whose relatives ashes are scattered outside RDS.

As mentioned the Puskas Academia club build a new stadium and training academy in a small town but this was a new club - not a true legacy team. This creation has been subject to a parliamentary investigation into the role of the Hungarian PM in terms of the funding behind it and building contracts awarded which have been smeared with allegations of alleged corruption.

That's all very well but I'm not posting a thread about Hungarian politics.

The reason my travelogue is relevant is because it's a new stadium almost exactly the capacity that we are looking to build.

It's a wonderful stadium, if they built this in Kingsford then the complaints from Dons fans would disappear.

The acoustics are wonderful.

A worry would be that a new fancy stadium with a capacity crowd is fine but what about a Motherwell match on a cold Tuesday in February.

I've only been to this stadium twice. First to a world cup qualifier against Northern fuckin Ireland and then last night.

So, a sell out and a pretty sparse crowd.

I was well impressed with the atmosphere last night.

Even little things like the P.A. working.

A roof that obviously keeps the sound inside the stadium is a big help.

At the moment of course we can't sell beer at the actual game.

I'm not so sure we can be trusted, but it's well beyond time we gave it a go.
