mizer Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Incidentally, I notice no-one has criticised Jamie Smith for his comments about the protest in his RedTV interview before the game. Do you think the cripple would be doing anything else but lick the sphincter and curly ball hairs of Calderwood in the attempt to try and get a new contract? His only other contract offer is from the wheelchair fencing association Quote

His only other contract offer is from the wheelchair fencing association From what I read on MAD, it sounded like Smith had yet another horrendous game for us. They were under the impression he was going to get a new deal (I didn't think the club had commented yet). Im still undecided whether or not he should get a new deal, leaning towards no at the moment. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 there was a bit in yesterday's Herald with Smith again saying it is a privilege to play for Aberdeen and he really doesn't want to move. He's now worried as the club haven't spoken to him about a contract. I would like to think the club is being clever on this and leaving it very late on purpose so Smith panics and re-signs on largely reduced basic terms. Quote

Did they not offer him a improved contract during his second season with us? I hope he regains his form with general match practise, but at the moment, I know he's not value for money. Quote
