Edinburghdon Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Why does he keep saying it to the press then? Apparently he met plenty of dons fans in Holland and they didnt have anything but praise for him. Can't really recall anything negative being said to him in holland to be honest. Apart from someone thinking they were clever having their photo taken with jimmy whilst slyly giving him the wankers gesture.... Don't think anyone shared their views properly with him though. Quote
Edinburghdon Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Same can't be said for people expressing their views to Charlie Allan face-to-face Disappointed he didn't manage to copy down some direct quotes, would have livened up that rag of a paper! Quote

For the Scotland game the other week I still hate jute for not being able to take a decent picture and it was all blurry Quote

dave_min Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 For the Scotland game the other week Nothing bad said then either, the closest thing to abuse he got when I seen him was "Go and sign McGregor" from a group of Huns. Quote

tafkat Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Maladjusts - not nice TF, have a pop but that's pretty low even by this site's standards. The lad in the wheelchair is after all a Don's fan who wants better than the dross we get served up at pittodrie. Quote

tafkat Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Grow up and quit the fishing! Don't try and get us to go down your AFC-Chat petty insult route http://www.thefreedictionary.com/maladjusted Nothing to see here Oh dear, suddenly a word that's used in a fuckn nasty way isn't. Funster can defend what i said seeing as you aint got a clue what he really meant. Or is it automatic that you jump to his defence ? If he meant an attack that had nothing to do with the wheelchair bound lad i'll apologise but that's not how it comes across. Quote
tafkat Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 Aw - ye want me to go all childish Jeremy Kyle AFC-Chat on ye? Away to bed little boy, is it not past yer bed time? You have the maladjusted protesters you deserve. (meaning affected with emotional disorder) So about 40 fans decide that what they see at pittodrie is dire and object to it they are maladjusted ? Maybe if you ever take a trip to pittodrie you'd understand what the problems are. Quote
tafkat Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 I thought funster was talking about k9. I hope not, why pick on one individual, that's nae nice. Quote
tafkat Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 Translation... "I never knew what "maladjusted" meant but in any case rushed in with a lunging two footed tackle, don't I look a right silly billy now" No, maladjusted is a term used to describe people who "aint right" Of course, the lad in wheelchair is now not going to be included in that allegation cos that aint the right thing to do. Harcus Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 Inadequately adjusted to the demands or stresses of daily living. Seems fairly succinct to me. Quote

If he meant an attack that had nothing to do with the wheelchair bound lad i'll apologise but that's not how it comes across. An attack , wtf??. I don't agree that it comes across that maladjust is used by TF in attack, nor even in reference, to the loon in a wheelchair. Minijc quickly jumped on maladjust as referring to the loon, thought you were more intelligent Tommy tafkat Quote
tafkat Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 I took it he was basically talking about everyone in that group as maladjusted. Mainly because they definitely looked like a motley crew. I guess my take on it was down to my understanding of the meaning and the fact that he spoke about them as maladjusts (plural) You are either twisting it, didn't know what it meant or are just fishing for the sake of it. Jim , i thought it was meant in a nasty way, have probably over reacted but when i hear anyone described as maladjusted i take it as being my understanding of the word. TF aint here so if i'm wrong i'll apologise but ffs, it seems a bit ott a reaction to some pissed off fans. There shouldnt be such divides amongst the support. Quote
tafkat Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 Translation... "I never knew what "maladjusted" meant but in any case rushed in with a lunging two footed tackle, don't I look a right silly billy now" I do - nearly every home game when I'm not offshore. I am also a shareholder. I believe there are more important issues affecting the club than sacking a manager for changes' sake. p.s. I can see Pittodrie from my living room window so am not a "non-travelling Donstalker" Given so many are shareholders, i aint sure what difference that makes but when you are at pittodrie you must see the reasons why people aint happy. tafkat Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 ok, not for the first time i read and rant instead of reading again then ranting. Quote
OneZero Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 cringeworthy!.... cant wait for the abuse that'll get us. Totally cringeworthy and, from JC's point of view easily spun round to be seen as a mark of support for him. Therefore, apart from failing as a protest it has had the entirely opposite result from the one it set out to get. Had that been another teams supporters we would have been pissing ourselves right now, and rightly so. That protest was probably more embarrasing than the exit to Dunfermline. Carlsberg don't do protests, but if they did..................that certainly wouldn't have been one of them Quote
RDU_64 Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 Oh no, an agument that looks at the bigger picture! GET MARK MCGHEE IN! SAVIOUR. Quote
