Superstar Tradesman Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 Are protestors supposed to smile? Nevermind. Just out of interest, which nightclub were you handing out those fliers for? Quote
stoney Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 I dont care if we are supposed to smile or not but i look fairly happy about things http://3276.e-printphoto.co.uk/ajl/index.cfm?z=z&y=y&p_id=11221331&c_id=73375&action=view Quote
Reekie_Red Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 I thought protests were made cos people were unhappy about the way things are going. Jeez, judging by all the smiles, anyone would think you'd just been to see the Dons notch up a win thanks to a 79th minute winner fae Gary McDonald. Some lynch mob that is! Quote

Who said the JMG mob aren't dedicated to the cause? Quote
stoney Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 I personally was happy because aberdeen won. Thats the main thing for me still. The team comes first Quote
stoney Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 Looks like minijc has put on some weight. He must only be spinning yarns about weight loss. Or it could be cause i have lost so much it makes him look bigger either way its always a great idea to stand next to him while being photographed Quote
bilbobaggins Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 My take on the whole thing is fair play to those who showed up. It's not my thing but at least they did what they said they were going to do. To the rest of the JMG camp - "Turn up for your protest, you didn't turn up for your protest". Quote
manc_don Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 But that then leads to a pretty big question? Would you want us to go all guns blazing to try and reach 3rd and risk finishing 5th, or would you rather we just sat in and stuck it out in 4th? Personally, i'd like us to try for 3rd. I've had another thought about this. I actually think it all depends on how this saturday goes. If we win, we need to continue and be resolute, but if we lose and the arabs win, we need to go all guns blazing. We would have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Quote

Cant see us getting much from the tims at parkhead MD, not on current form. United are home to killie and fancy them to win that one, cant see kevin kyle getting much change out of wilkie and kenneth like he did against falkirk Quote

(dig at him and not you! ) No I agree, I don't think we will get much out of the Parkhead game, but we'll see. We all know, that when you expect something from Aberdeen, they do the opposite. Quote

manc_don Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 We normally do better at Parkhead than at Pittodrie anyway. Very true, but I try not to get too optimistic for these affairs, because as I said, Aberdeen invairably bite you in the arse when you are! Quote

From a strikers point of view it was a good hattrick, ironically enough though the best goal was the one he used his foot for. Thought he did really well to get the shot in with three defenders closing in. The second two were just stinking defending, you dont let such a big lad get virtually free headers. Its not like he's particularily mobile either though this is because he's a lot chunkier than i remember when he was at sunderland, he must be a bit of a bulldozer to play against is what im getting at. Still though thats no excuse for a defender as experienced as pressley. Cant see us getting hee haw at parkhead Quote
Kowalski Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 Like i said damned if you do damned if you dont, at least we had the bottle to try something when all those that said they would help out botttled it. Who are "all those"? All the "polls" pointed to a fairly meagre turn out. Quote
Kowalski Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 I was long gone by this point as had my darts night out andheppy had to take his nephew home, people started drifting away before i left. Your heart's not in it is it? Quote
Ajja Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 That is so fucking embarrassing. I have seen games of top trumps that looked more animated when holding up their cards. The Stooge article on MAD is excellent. Quote

Ajja Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 Next time, JMG should just set up one of these and save themselves the burner: Quote
